Chapter 271 Lion-Eared Girl
Chapter 271 Lion-Eared Girl
The two continued walking for a while, and a unique building appeared before them—a security booth.
This guard post is not an ordinary tin hut or glass booth; it is more like a miniature stone fortress with strong symbolic meaning.
The entire structure is made of rough, grayish-yellow stone, with a solid and sturdy appearance.
The most striking feature is the roof of the pavilion, which is sculpted into a huge, majestic stone sculpture of a lion's head, with its mouth slightly open, revealing sharp teeth, as if it is roaring silently.
The walls of the pavilion are also decorated with simplified lion outlines, paw prints, and other patterns in relief.
Even the sides of the stone steps leading to the pavilion are carved with wave-like patterns, symbolizing the lion's mane.
The two stepped forward.
The pavilion's windows are dark one-way glass, so you can't see inside from the outside.
A heavy wooden door with a lion-head knocker was ajar.
They exchanged a glance, and Lin Feng reached out and gently knocked on the door knocker.
"Please come in." A calm, pleasant female voice, but lacking obvious emotional fluctuations, came from inside.
Lin Feng pushed open the door and went inside.
The interior space is slightly larger than it appears from the outside, but it is still quite simple.
One side is a wall of monitoring screens, displaying images of every corner of the large carnivore enclosure.
On the other side are lockers, weapon racks (containing non-lethal riot control equipment such as forks, shields, and net guns), and an old desk.
A detailed map of the park and some internal contact lists are displayed on the wall.
In the corner was an old-fashioned time clock, flashing a faint red light.
Behind the desk sat a "person".
Her standard dark blue security uniform was stretched taut, the buttons on her chest bearing obvious pressure, revealing her breathtaking curves.
But what is most striking are those features that are by no means human.
Her face blends features of two species:
Human lips and eyes, with clear light brown pupils and slightly upturned corners of the eyes.
Her nose, a classic lion's nose, moist and smooth, presented a peculiar, wild majesty in the center of her delicate face.
On either side were a pair of fluffy, golden-brown lion ears, which were now turning slightly and alertly, catching the faintest sound.
Her thick, dark golden hair cascaded down her back, the ends curling slightly, like a lion's mane encircling her strong jawline.
As she slowly stood up, her movements were as fluid as a feline stretching its limbs. A lion's tail, also covered in short, golden-brown fur and with a tuft of dark fur at the end, gracefully draped down from behind the hem of her uniform and swayed slightly in the air.
"The new patrol security guards are Lin Feng and Wasim."
Her voice rang out, and her perfect human lips curved into a standard professional smile, but her lion ears stood up, looking focused and alert.
"I am the duty unit for this area, number 07."
"Please clock in at the fingerprint terminal."
She raised her hand and pointed to a square device on the side of the desk that was emitting a faint blue light, the tight uniform on her chest swaying in an eye-catching curve with her movement.
Wasim stepped forward first and placed his palm on the recognition screen.
A blue light swept across, emitting a soft confirmation beep.
Lin Feng followed closely behind.
Just as he pressed his fingerprint, he caught a glimpse out of the corner of his eye of 07's nimble lion tail tip rhythmically tapping lightly against the metal chair leg, producing an almost inaudible tapping sound.
"Check-in complete." 07's voice was calm and even. "The morning patrol of the large carnivore area is now beginning."
"Please strictly follow the duty guidelines. If you encounter any situation, you can call me directly via walkie-talkie."
After she finished speaking, she turned around, took two black walkie-talkies from the storage shelf behind her, and walked up to the two people.
When she handed the walkie-talkie to Lin Feng, the tip of her index finger brushed lightly across his palm.
Her gaze lowered slightly, then she looked up at him again, her eyes filled with an indescribable ambiguity, thick and lingering.
"As for weapons—" she withdrew her hand, her voice carrying a hint of something unreadable, "you'd better not take them. After all, the 'tourists' here aren't so easy for you humans to mess with."
The two nodded, securely hung the walkie-talkies on their waists, then turned and pushed open the door, exiting the security booth.

Studio:
"Holy crap, what kind of god-level hybrid aesthetics is this?! Lion-eared girls really exist!"
"That uniform that's practically spilling out... is it for a legitimate security guard?"
"Brother Feng! Your half-orc wife is pretty appealing too, how about... we take her in as well?"
"Just wondering... who are her parents? It can't really be... a man and a lion, can it? (It's terrifying to think about)"
"An android! Absolutely a top-of-the-line android! The skin texture, the detail—how much would that cost?!"
"Whatever it is, please whip me with your tail, Lion Girl! Please! (Crouches in a contorted manner)"
"Wake up, upstairs! That's a guard in the car-eating enclosure who can smash a car door with a single slap!"
........................
As the number of tourists gradually increased, they were scattered along the wooden boardwalk and viewing platform.
Lin Feng and Vassim walked slowly along the trail, their eyes silently scanning between the tourists and the animals in the park.
As Lin Feng approached a special observation deck called "Predator Lookout," his steps faltered almost imperceptibly.
Wasim immediately tensed up as well.
This viewing platform faces the "Lion Ridge" below.
Several lionesses were dozing on the rocks, while the thick-maned male lion was also basking in the warm sun with his eyelids half-closed.
The problem lies with the tall, thin man at the edge of the observation deck.
He had his back to the crowd, wearing an old beige trench coat that had been starched and faded, and a wide-brimmed deerstalker hat with the brim pulled low.
He held an old-fashioned black SLR camera steadily in both hands, the attached silver telephoto lens was exaggeratedly long, and at this moment his gaze was fixed on the lion's half-closed eyelids.
He exuded a kind of cold "focus" that made nearby tourists subconsciously take a few steps away.
Just then, the man raised the camera.
Hold the bottom of the lens barrel with your left hand and gently place your right index finger on the shutter button.
Then, with extreme care, he turned the focusing ring of the telephoto lens inch by inch—
The camera silently extends forward, like some kind of metallic beast stretching its limbs, precisely and silently capturing the sleeping lion in the distance.
Rule 2 for the large carnivore area:
[It is strictly forbidden to use telephoto lenses to photograph the lion's eyes. Furthermore, the carrying and use of laser pointers, high-powered flashlights, or any other devices with directional beams are strictly prohibited in this area.]
"Is this guy taking pictures of a lion's eyes?" Vassim's muscles tensed, and he was about to step forward.
Lin Feng's hand gripped his forearm like an iron clamp, his voice low and deep: "Don't move."
[Infinite Deduction] is activated instantly.
In the simulation, Lin Feng chose to step forward directly and dissuade the person in a businesslike tone.
The man in the trench coat slowly turned his head—beneath the brim of his hat, a stiff smile appeared on his lips, and a flash of crimson appeared in his eyes.
Thick black mist surged out from the gaps in his trench coat, and his body began to twist and swell, his bones creaking with a teeth-grinding sound.
Lin Feng reacted extremely quickly, almost simultaneously unleashing an "Absolute Hit - Big Penis Slap," which landed hard on the opponent's cheek.
A crisp striking sound rang out, and the opponent's movements froze instantly.
However, the chain reaction has already detonated like a bomb.
The other "tourists" on the observation deck all tilted their heads back, letting out ear-piercing screams, their eyes rolling back, their bodies elongating and distorting in the violent tremors.
Countless malevolent gazes suddenly focused, and black energy and red light surged like a tide, instantly engulfing the entire space.
Faced with such a massive rampage, the two had absolutely no chance of maneuvering...
The simulation footage is fragmented.
A direct confrontation would mean certain death!
Lin Feng took a deep breath and lowered his voice to a whisper: "We can only outsmart them, not force them. I'll give it a try."
