Chapter 464 Soul Skill
Chapter 464 Soul Skill
Everyone had decided on their Soul Affixes one by one and began the next step of training.
"Alright, we'll start with Soul-based skills first. You will not use Prana in the creation of this skill. Only soul energy and Aethir force. No use of any elements."
Nira smiled and added, "But you can use concepts if you can incorporate them in the soul-skill."
"Here's a display of a watered-down version of my attack-type soul skill: Scythe Discharge."
Nira stretched her right hand to the side before a big scythe of her size, with a meter-long curved scythe blade appeared in her hand.
It was mostly black with faint pink and yellow patterns, which glowed and made the scythe look unique.
Everyone inspected the scythe and its structure with their Spiritual Aethir Gaze.
"I sense elements," Erix raised his eyebrows.
"Yeah, you said elements are not allowed. What's this?" Rin asked.
"They are not not elements," Nira grinned.
"These are the properties of my elements, that Aethir's attribute—Metamorph, applied in this skill."
Everyone understood.
"The skill's fuel is not Prana even if they are elemental powers, so it's still considered a soul-based skill. If you use Prana, the skill's structure wouldn't be able to pass through physical and magical defenses."
Nira said, adopting an expression akin to a teacher teaching students, "Your Soul-skill can only be blocked by another pure soul skill. The more sophisticated your soul-based skill is, the harder it will be for your opponent to counter."
"People use them in battle only if they are confident because the clash soul-skills meant that they would exhaust Soul Energy and Aethir force faster," Nira explained the importance.
"This scythe is a pure-attack type and the impact I deal with it is relevant to their physical body as well because that's how I created it," Nira smiled and disappeared from her spot before everyone was suddenly hit with a slash coming at them.
All of them tried to dodge but were hit as they didn't expect Nira to suddenly attack them.
Everyone was hit by a small slash at various parts of their body.
Meanwhile, Nira contacted Korin.
[Nira: So what are you doinng?]
[Korin: Doing exactly what I said when I left, in addition to looking out for the group that's after Rin's Heavenly Nimbus Shen.]
[Nira: You are concerned this much about that one group...do they have an Elite Empyrean?]
[Korin: They have three. We can't afford to clash with them right now.]
Nira was dumbfounded and couldn't help but utter a "Fuck..."
[Nira: What are you doing after finding them?]
[Korin: Create some trouble for them and put a tracker if possible. I'll also have to make some preparations to hide and save our base. We'll get busy after the Break Time. No time to slack back for anything.]
[Nira: True. Let's try to do more Trials if possible, so we can get Throne Hall features.]
[Korin: A few of them need to get stronger fast if we want to survive till the end. It's time to split the work. You and I will hunt for trials. The eight of them will do Challenges so they can continue to get stronger.]
[Nira: Gotcha. They are creating primary soul-based skills right now. Let's see how long it takes them to create a set of good skills.]
[Korin: Recovery and Defense types are a must. They can always attack enemies with other skills, so it's fine if they don't create offense-type soul skills for now.]
[Nira: Yeah, I'll explain it to them.]
*Beep*
Nira just stayed around while in meditation to do her training, but she was not fully focused. She had put detectors around the area in case someone intruded.
But it wasn't long before someone called Nira.
[Lilith: I am done. Let's check out my skill.]
[Nira: Nice. I am just above the cloud. Wait.]
