"Alright, let's go. Ron, don't touch Harry's things!"
As night deepened and the temperature grew colder, Hagrid had no choice but to urge Ron and Hermione to leave.
Little did he know that both of them wanted to stay.
Ron looked at Hermione in a panic, while she darted around with a mischievous look on her face.
"Hagrid, how long will it take Yang and Harry to pack all this stuff?"
"We should help them tidy up before leaving; it's basic etiquette for gentlemen and ladies."
Hermione tugged at Hagrid's clothes and began trying to persuade him.
Hagrid looked up at the camping gear scattered on the ground around him.
He sighed and said, "Alright, but we have to hurry."
Ron happily fiddled with the outdoor tent.
“Hey, they don’t need that! Here’s a log cabin I built myself; it’s warm and safe.”
Hagrid stopped Ron from taking the tent apart.
Hermione quickly pulled Ron away, glaring at him fiercely, and whispered in his ear, "Couldn't you have waited a little longer?"
Ron scratched his head and chuckled twice.
Under Hermione's direction, everyone carried things in an orderly manner until the ground suddenly began to tremble.
Dong~dong~dong~
Ron looked down at the bouncing pebbles at his feet and shouted in terror, "An earthquake!!!"
Hermione and Harry immediately screamed!
The three of them ran away with their heads in their hands!
Hagrid and Chu Yang looked at each other in bewilderment.
This is not an earthquake.
Rather, it is some behemoth approaching...
"You three, calm down!"
Hagrid grabbed one in each hand and brought the three scurrying squirrels under control.
"look up!"
Hermione, hearing Hagrid's reminder, was the first to look up, and then saw that the sky was completely obscured by a huge object.
It was a towering tree, or rather, a tree-man, whose size was indescribable. Just by standing there, its shadow enveloped the nearby lake.
Creepy!
"Ahhhh!!!"
Hermione let out a deafening scream.
Harry and Ron looked up at the same time, and when they saw the enormous thing, they both exclaimed.
Chu Yang's ears hurt from the noise, so he cast a silencing spell.
The three people's mouths seemed to have been sewn shut, and their screams stopped abruptly.
“Don’t be nervous, that’s Yang’s pet, haven’t you seen it before?” Hagrid explained.
pet?
Hermione, Harry, and Ron stared at Chu Yang in horror.
"It's that willow tree that beats people up at school!"
Seeing that they had quieted down, Chu Yang lifted the spell.
“Impossible!” Hermione immediately shook her head. “The Whomping Willow isn’t that big.”
Chu Yang didn't bother explaining to them and directly gave the command to the towering tree, "Find a place to sit down, and don't block the light."
The giant tree moved slowly, and the cabin was once again bathed in the tranquil moonlight.
Ron squinted one eye and looked up, saying with difficulty, "I find it hard to believe this is real."
Chu Yang laughed and said, "I gave it a new name, the War Tree."
Under Chu Yang's orders, the war tree behaved very well.
Hagrid is absolutely right to describe it as a pet.
Harry looked at the war tree with lingering fear and swallowed hard.
He now understood why Headmaster Dumbledore insisted that Chu Yang accompany him to the Forbidden Forest for a period of time.
Such a terrifying creature, even Voldemort couldn't defeat it, right?
As soon as the giant war tree sat down, the ground trembled again, and then some small branches and vines extended to Chu Yang's feet like tentacles.
It gently brushed against Chu Yang's mage robe.
"Is it being affectionate with you?" Hermione asked in surprise, looking at the writhing branch on the ground.
"Well, strictly speaking, it's still a child," Chu Yang joked.
Ron chuckled dryly, "A kid in his fifties..."
Harry adjusted his glasses and nodded, saying, "Based on the age of the trees, describing someone in their twenties as a child is very apt."
“Well said, Harry!” Hagrid stroked the branches of the Tree of War with tenderness, as if he were treating a real toddler.
"So, with it around, the Forbidden Forest has gone from being the most dangerous place to the safest place?"
Hermione's eyes lit up, and she secretly pinched Ron.
Ron nearly jumped up in pain, but Hermione's fierce glare silenced him. He nodded sheepishly in agreement, "It really does make me feel safe, Hagrid, don't you think?"
“Of course!” Hagrid said proudly, “You can completely trust this little guy!”
brat?
Chu Yang looked at the war tree, which was almost as tall as Ultraman, and suddenly found it a little funny.
"Since it's so safe, wouldn't it be better for us to stay here?"
Then Hermione said it as a matter of course.
"Of course...that's not right!"
Hagrid, whose IQ seemed to be running low, suddenly realized what was happening and quickly shook his head, saying, "Headmaster Dumbledore didn't say you could stay here."
Ron continued, "But he didn't say that we can't stay here."
Hagrid was speechless, his mind gradually shutting down.
Just then, the ground began to shake again, and everyone looked towards the giant war tree.
Ron cautioned, "Don't move around like that..."
The giant tree of war reached out and scratched its canopy, its every move expressing bewilderment.
I didn't move...
Several people looked at each other.
Hissing sounds echoed from the depths of the forbidden forest, followed by a series of pure white figures rushing out of the darkness.
Hermione exclaimed excitedly, "It's a unicorn! I saw a unicorn!"
Ron gaped, exclaiming incredulously, "So many unicorns?! Merlin's beard!"
Countless white figures, bathed in moonlight, converged into a torrent, surging like a tsunami, a scene that was breathtaking.
Harry was stunned.
The unicorns slowly came to a stop. Most of them stopped by the lake and lowered their heads to drink water, while the rest walked to Chu Yang's vicinity.
However, because there were other people around Chu Yang, the unicorns subconsciously kept their distance.
Hagrid took a few deep breaths, suppressing his excitement, and turned to Chu Yang, saying, "They must have smelled your scent."
Chu Yang nodded. To be precise, it was the pure life force within his body that was attracting the unicorn.
"They're your pets too?" Hermione's face flushed with excitement. "I know it's rude of me to ask, but could I ride a unicorn for just a little while?"
“If they don’t like it, then forget it…” Hermione said awkwardly, standing still.
"They are my friends, don't worry, the unicorns really like smart and kind girls like you."
Chu Yang whistled, and the unicorn that had been standing nearby immediately rushed to him and gently touched his hand with its head.
The vitality, like a hot spring, flowed into the unicorn's body through Chu Yang's hands.
It emits a joyful, long cry.
"Get on!"
Chu Yang cast a levitation spell on Hermione, precisely placing her on the unicorn's back.
