Chapter 1330: Strange discoveries (3)

In a few more of the smaller caves, there was the same reaction that came from the Orb of the Dead.

With the Orb of the Dead guiding me, it was quite easy for me to find the bone fragments.

Then with the help of the others who no longer just stared in a daze, I was able to quickly piece together the bones that these fragments came from.

Each time that the bones were pieced together, Elizabeth was able to recognize what demon these bones came from. It was just that every time, it seemed like there was a different demon that these bones came from.

There wasn’t a single time where the bones came from the same demon race.

It almost seemed deliberate that a different race of demon was found in each of these caves.

The other thing that was found in each of these caves was the layout of the bone fragments.

It was the same as the first cave where the bone fragments were scattered around where the orb would have been found.

I also paid closer attention to the way that the bone fragments were left and it really seemed like they had been blown away. It was as if they had exploded and had been sent flying by that explosion.

So it seemed that something did happen in each of these caves and it involved the bones of the demons.

As for what that thing was...

Well it was anyone’s guess and I did have my guess.

So after I finished investigating the current small cave that we were in, I said, "Let’s head to the main entrance now."

Now that I had an idea of what to look for, it was better to look in the main entrance where there would be more things to find. Seeing the way that Elizabeth reacted to the things that I found, it was clear that they hadn’t found the same things as me.

In that case, the bone fragments should still be there in the main entrance for me to find.

She didn’t seem to react when I said this, but there was a strange look that was on her face when she heard this.

It wasn’t that she didn’t know how to respond, it was just that she didn’t want to respond.

Elizabeth wasn’t a fool.

She was already able to figure out what happened after seeing all these clues placed in front of her like this. If she couldn’t see it, then she would have lost her position as the demon queen a long time ago.

But this was her father that all of this was related to.

She didn’t want to admit that he was someone that had gone this far, even though she knew that he had committed some terrible crimes during his time as the demon king.

She felt that what he was being accused of could be considered going over the line.

Only with all this evidence in front of her.

"I admit that it’s hard to deny this when there’s all this evidence, but is there a meaning to this?" Elizabeth said with a sigh in the end.

I gave a simple nod before saying, "There are still some orbs missing and if someone wants to do the same thing as your father did to put corruption energy in them...I think you would know what they’d want to do."

This time. Elizabeth deeply knitted her brows before saying, "I’ll go and check the reports that have been coming in. If there’s anything off, I’ll tell you immediately."

I gave a nod in response without saying anything.

There was no need to say anything at this point, the evidence was more than enough.

The way to fill the orbs with corruption energy, it seemed like it had something to do with sacrificing demons...

With how many bones were in this place, it was hard to imagine just how many demons had died in this place.
