Chapter 1852 - 1736: Lost Something
One of them was a typical Russian, burly and strong, with a bushy beard and a fierce gaze.
His opponent was a man dressed in a long-sleeved tracksuit and a baseball cap.
The brim of the cap was pulled low and he was backlit, making it hard to see what he looked like.
The battle began. The Russian ferociously attacked the man in the baseball cap.
But the fight was over in an instant.
The man in the baseball cap suddenly reached out with his left hand, piercing through the Russian’s heart with a single thrust. When he retracted his hand, he held a still-beating, bloody heart in his palm.
The audience below the stage erupted in enthusiastic cheers.
Song Yun noticed that the left hand of the man in the baseball cap was actually metallic; it was a prosthetic limb.
The fight ended, and the man in the baseball cap turned and stepped off the stage.
At this moment, Song Yun finally saw the man’s face; it was Tang Xiaoyun.
Groundhog paused the footage, zoomed in, and the image froze on Tang Xiaoyun’s face.
Song Yun asked, "Is Tang Xiaoyun participating in underground fighting?"
"Yes." Groundhog nodded and then explained, "This underground fighting organization is called King of Fighters Championship. It was started by people from the mainland, but the fights are held in Kuala Lumpur. Nobody knows the forces behind it, but they’ve got strong backing. The Malay authorities are aware of this underground fighting organization and have tried many times to destroy it but always failed. Later, someone intervened, and the matter was suppressed."
"Now, even though the King of Fighters Championship is illegal, no one questions it. With the development over the years, this underground fighting organization has become very famous globally, ranking as the number one in the world. They host a fight every week, never lacking fighters or an audience."
"King of Fighters Championship."
Song Yun said it aloud, finding it quite laughable.
The fighters who step into the ring are just mobs for real masters, yet this organization has such an arrogant name.
King of Fighters Championship, yet it’s not invincible in the universe.
Song Yun asked Groundhog, "Why is Tang Xiaoyun participating in these fights? Have you found out?"
Groundhog replied, "I planted many listening devices and finally concluded that Tang Xiaoyun is participating in the fights as a trial."
"Trial!" Song Yun raised his eyebrows and murmured, "It seems he’s using the battles in the ring to improve the compatibility with his body after having the mechanical prosthetic attached to his left arm. But this mob can’t possibly be his match; why is he doing this?"
Chen Qingzhi said, "Boss, why bother? Just find him, kill him, and your purpose will be fulfilled."
Song Yun nodded and asked Groundhog, "Where is he located right now?"
Groundhog tapped a few keys on the laptop, and a map appeared on the monitor. He pointed to a green icon, "Right here."
"Let’s go."
Song Yun downed his drink in one go and left the bar.
Soon, the three of them stood below a dilapidated apartment, where, according to Groundhog’s tracking, Tang Xiaoyun and his master were located.
Song Yun said to Chen Qingzhi and Groundhog, "I’ll go up alone, you guys wait for me here, don’t come up if nothing happens."
"Boss, let us help you."
Chen Qingzhi and Groundhog said in unison.
Song Yun shook his head, "You wouldn’t be any help; going up would only complicate things for me. You two wait for me downstairs."
Although Chen Qingzhi is strong, compared to those who have reached the pinnacle of Martial Arts, he still falls short, let alone Groundhog, who is not skilled in combat at all.
The two saw Song Yun’s determination and stayed downstairs.
Groundhog handed Song Yun a device capable of locating Tang Xiaoyun. The closer to the target, the faster the indicator light blinked.
He halted in front of a room, the light was steady, indicating the target was less than ten meters away.
He stared at the greasy, very old door in front of him.
"Come in."
A voice came from inside, it was Tang Xiaoyun’s voice.
Song Yun was not surprised; things were as he expected. Groundhog finding Tang Xiaoyun’s location so easily was indeed because Tang Xiaoyun had deliberately exposed his whereabouts.
He pushed open the door and saw the room was empty, except for a chair where Tang Xiaoyun was sitting.
Tang Xiaoyun faced the door, sitting on the chair, looking at Song Yun with a cold smile.
Song Yun entered the room, closed the door with a creak, laughed, and asked, "Were you waiting for me?"
"Yes." Tang Xiaoyun nodded.
Song Yun said, "Unfortunately, I’m not here for you. You’re Little Sword God’s prey. I’m here to deal with your master, to prevent that old bastard from always sending someone to trouble me."
"Hahaha..."
Tang Xiaoyun burst into laughter.
Suddenly, his laughter stopped abruptly. He stared at Song Yun, speaking cruelly, "Song Yun, you’re too arrogant, the current me is no longer someone you can handle. In these past few months, I’ve been transformed; I’m completely different from before. My combat power and physical strength are not something you can imagine."
"Relying on that prosthetic hand?" Song Yun sneered disdainfully, "I don’t want to waste my words. Tell me, where’s your master?"
"Looking for me?"
A voice came from the kitchen, and a middle-aged man with a cold expression walked out.
Though Song Yun hadn’t seen him before, the one-eyed dragon confirmed his identity as Tang Xiaoyun’s master.
Song Yun’s eyes showed killing intent; he sneered, "Interesting, you two master and disciple are planning to gang up on me today?"
"To kill you, I’m enough." Tang Xiaoyun stood up, moved his mechanical arm, and said, "Song Yun, you killed my Tang Family people and took my arm, today I will defeat you. But don’t worry, I won’t let you die because I want to slowly torture you."
Song Yun opened the box he carried and took out the Seven Kills Ghost Dagger, smiling, "Tang Xiaoyun, did you lose something?"
Lost something?
Tang Xiaoyun looked puzzled and demanded, "Brat, what did I lose?"
Song Yun showed a disdainful expression and pointed at his head, "You lost your intelligence, otherwise, how could you think you could defeat me."
"Bastard, how dare you fool me!"
Tang Xiaoyun roared and attacked.
His speed was indeed faster than before, and that iron hand shone with a metallic luster, giving off a cold feeling.
Song Yun could tell that Tang Xiaoyun’s strength had indeed grown over the months.
However, just as he could crush Tang Xiaoyun before, he could do so now.
"Get lost."
Song Yun slashed out with the Seven Kills Ghost Dagger, drawing an arc and striking the end of Tang Xiaoyun’s arm.
Clang.
Sparks flew, and this strike couldn’t even sever Tang Xiaoyun’s arm.
