Chapter 130: The Ultimate Choice Where Fates Meet
Chapter 130: The Ultimate Choice Where Fates Meet
He took a deep breath, gently raised his hands, and the power of the rules erupted once more. This time, he was no longer simply adjusting the energy fluctuations of the spatial blocks, but attempting to rebuild the connections between them.
As the power of the rules continued to permeate, the floating spatial blocks began to slowly converge, and the cracks between them gradually healed. The structure of the entire dimension became increasingly stable, and the tension in the void weakened accordingly.
“It’s done,” Isaac said softly, a hint of satisfaction in his eyes.
However, at that moment, the deep voice rang out again: "Creator, you have passed the trial of the Void Abyss, but are you ready to face the true dimensional core?"
Isaac's gaze sharpened slightly. He gripped the dimensional crystal in his hand, his voice low and firm: "No matter what the trial is, I will overcome it step by step."
The blue light enveloped his body once more, taking him to a higher dimension.
The blue light, like a tidal wave, completely enveloped Isaac's body. His consciousness seemed to merge into endless space and time, each moment stretched infinitely, only to be compressed into an extremely brief instant the next. This trans-temporal teleportation caused his consciousness to experience an unprecedented tremor.
“The core of the dimension…” Isaac murmured, the crystal in his hand emitting a faint blue light that guided his direction, “This is the key to getting closer to the final answer.”
He opened his eyes, and the scene before him startled him slightly. This was a realm completely different from any of the previous trial grounds. Here, there was no fixed space or time; everything was constantly changing. Stars were rapidly born, expanded, and eventually vanished in his sight; the flow of time was no longer a straight line, but rather spread outwards like ripples, as if unfolding countless possibilities.
"Welcome to the edge of the dimensional core, Creator." A clear yet majestic voice echoed in the void.
Isaac quickly looked around, trying to pinpoint the source of the sound, but it seemed to come from every corner of the space, making it impossible to pinpoint its exact location.
"Is this the core of a dimension?" Isaac asked, his voice calm yet wary.
"Yes and no," the voice said slowly. "You are now at the intersection of dimensional cores, a place where all rules, destinies, and possibilities intertwine. Only by passing the trials here can you touch the core and truly step into the pinnacle of the creator."
Isaac's gaze sharpened slightly. He wasn't intimidated by the authoritative tone, but instead asked coldly, "What is this trial? And who is orchestrating all of this?"
"The trials are set by the will of the dimensional core, and I am merely its guide," the voice replied. "Your strength has proven that you are qualified to come here, but the trials to come will be completely different from your previous experiences."
"Completely different?" Isaac scoffed, arms crossed, a hint of disdain in his voice. "The previous trials have already allowed me to control powers beyond the rules. What can you possibly use to test me now?"
"Beyond the rules, there are still limitations; beyond fate, there is no eternity." The voice held a complex tone. "You believe you have transcended everything, but the trial at the core of the dimension will force you to face the true ultimate choice."
As soon as he finished speaking, Isaac suddenly felt a powerful suction force coming from beneath his feet. His body was involuntarily pulled into the depths of the void, a force so strong that it was irresistible, as if the entire space was pushing him into an unknown abyss.
"Is this forcing me?" Isaac's gaze turned icy. The power of rules surged rapidly within him, transforming into a golden barrier in an attempt to resist the suction force. However, this time, his power of rules proved exceptionally weak. The golden radiance was quickly torn apart by the suction, proving utterly ineffective.
“This power…” Isaac frowned. He realized that this was not a simple suppression of power, but a higher level of rule interference.
The instant he was sucked into the abyss, his consciousness jolted, and the scene before him changed drastically. He found himself standing in a completely unfamiliar world, a world that was neither the shattered dimension of the previous trial nor filled with chaotic energy, but a space teeming with life.
Seven brilliant stars hung in the sky, each radiating a different kind of light. The earth was a scene of prosperity, with countless creatures roaming the land, their eyes filled with hope and vitality.
“This is…” Isaac’s eyes flickered slightly. He could sense that the rules of this world were unusually stable, as if they had reached a perfect balance.
"This is the ultimate goal you have been pursuing." The voice rang out again, but this time, its tone carried a deeper meaning. "This is a perfect world created by the dimensional core, where all rules have reached their optimal state, and all life thrives in balance. There is no war, no destruction, and no suffering here."
“A perfect world…” Isaac repeated these words softly, his gaze becoming complicated.
“You possess the power to control all of this,” the voice continued. “If you wish, you can become the master of this world and keep it in balance and prosperity forever.”
A hint of doubt flashed in Isaac's eyes: "That's it? You want me to control it? Is that the purpose of the trial?"
"No, this is only the first part," the voice said coldly. "To become the master of this world, you must accept one premise—your existence will be forever bound to this world. You will lose your freedom, become part of the dimensional core, and serve it forever."
Isaac's pupils contracted slightly. He remained silent for a moment, then said coldly, "Make me a prisoner?"
“You can understand it this way,” the voice said. “If you refuse, you will destroy this world—all life, rules, and hope will vanish with your choice. And your soul will forever bear the burden of this world’s destruction, unable to escape the condemnation of fate.”
"Is this a trial? Or a threat?" Isaac sneered, his gaze growing even colder.
"This is a choice." The voice was deep and authoritative. "To become the Creator means to control destiny, but it also means to bear the full cost. Do you have the courage to bear it?"
Isaac was torn by inner turmoil. He had paid a heavy price for his journey to transcend fate and master the rules. He had believed that freedom lay at the pinnacle, but now he realized that true freedom required an even heavier sacrifice.
