The sky was not yet fully light; a faint glimmer of dawn was just beginning to appear on the eastern horizon.
In front of the dilapidated Uchiha mansion, young Sasuke had been training hard all night in the empty courtyard.
He held a kunai in one hand and thrust and slashed at the imaginary enemy again and again.
Sweat dripped down Sasuke's face, but he seemed oblivious, his eyes burning with hatred.
For him, pain and fatigue are nothing as long as he can become stronger.
Kill that man!
He will never waver in this belief!
The night was long, but Sasuke Uchiha stubbornly stayed awake, relying on his unwavering will to keep his eyes open.
He trained relentlessly to avoid being tempted by false dreams.
As the eastern sky began to lighten and the first rays of the rising sun pierced the darkness and fell upon his face, Sasuke finally stopped what he was doing and began to gasp for breath.
"Phew... It's dawn."
As Sasuke watched the sun gradually rise, his tense nerves finally relaxed a little.
"The night has passed... I haven't fallen into that eerie dream again!"
He slowly turned around and glanced at the empty and dilapidated Uchiha mansion behind him.
The light of dawn lengthened his shadow, casting it onto the dusty ground.
Sasuke put away his kunai and stretched his limbs briefly.
Although he hadn't slept all night, he didn't intend to rest. Instead, he casually washed his face with water and started walking towards the village.
The Uchiha ruins are some distance from the center of the village, so now is the perfect time to head there.
……
Hyuga Residence, Konoha Village.
Soft sunlight streamed into the room through the window lattice, casting dappled shadows on the tatami mats.
Hinata Hyuga lay on her small bed, her long eyelashes trembling slightly before she finally woke up.
She opened her blurry eyes, stared at the familiar roof beams for a moment, then suddenly seemed to remember something and sat up abruptly.
"Engaged?!"
Hinata gasped softly, her pretty face instantly burning red as the scenes from her dream last night flooded her mind like a tidal wave.
She covered her burning cheeks with her hands, feeling both ashamed and flustered, wishing she could shrink back under the covers and hide: "How could I dream of... getting engaged to Naruto-kun... How could I have such a dream!"
Hinata felt both embarrassed and ashamed, thinking that her dream was really... too daring.
I actually dreamt that I was giving Naruto a gift, and I even dreamt that my father wanted me to get engaged to Naruto?
As she recalled the details of her dream, she clutched the blanket tightly and rolled around on the bed, feeling so ashamed that she didn't know what to do.
After tossing and turning in frustration for a while, Hinata's little head gradually calmed down.
No... what happened last night didn't seem to be my dream?
Recalling the bizarre experience in her dream, she muttered in confusion, "Last night... last night it seemed like Naruto was having a dream, and I... I watched Naruto's dream?"
Hinata frowned slightly, unsure whether what happened last night was her dream or a dream in which she was in Naruto's dream.
Many of the sensations in the dream felt so real, especially the strange, dark space, the giant screen, and Sakura and Kakashi-sensei watching the "movie" together...
These are not things I would normally dream about.
"Oh right, Sakura and Kakashi-sensei!"
Hinata suddenly remembered that Sakura and Kakashi-sensei had indeed been with her in that strange movie theater last night.
They were also surprised by their sudden appearance, and Sakura even kindly explained to them that she was watching Naruto's dream...
Hinata recalled the details of her dream, and her delicate brows furrowed slightly.
If it wasn't just an ordinary dream, but some real event, then Sakura and Kakashi-sensei would definitely remember it.
Perhaps I could go and ask them about what happened last night?
After all, those two definitely understand what's going on better than I do.
Thinking of this, Hinata jumped out of bed.
Forget about being shy, she quickly changed her clothes, lowered her head, pushed open the door, and ran out.

early morning.
"Phew... thank goodness Mom didn't agree right away."
Naruto sat up, panting, his heart still racing as he recalled the events of his dream from the previous night.
engagement?
Having just become a genin, he felt a headache coming on just thinking about those two words.
Fortunately, Naruto's mother politely declined the other party's suggestion in his dream, otherwise Naruto really wouldn't know how to face Hinata now.
Compared to this, he was more concerned about something else.
Naruto rolled out of bed, took out the rubber ball he had prepared yesterday from the corner, and weighed it in his hand.
He closed his eyes, recalling the feeling of training in his dream, and slowly channeled chakra into the ball with both hands.
At first glance, nothing seems to have changed, but the inside of the ball is constantly being impacted and torn by chakra.
Naruto stared intently at the ball in his hand, sweat gradually forming on his forehead, and his expression grew serious.
One minute, two minutes...
Time passed in the quiet room. Naruto's hands trembled slightly, and he vaguely felt his strength failing him.
But he didn't give up, gritting his teeth and continuing to recall the successful method from his dream.
In my dream, I could easily do this!
"Hang in there a little longer, it'll be over soon—"
"Snapped!"
With a crisp sound, several cracks suddenly appeared on the surface of the rubber ball, and finally, with a bang, it shattered into pieces!
Succeeded?
Naruto paused for a moment, looking down at the tattered rubber fragments covering his hands, then a wildly joyful smile spread across his face: "Great! I've successfully completed the second stage of my training!"
He excitedly clenched his fist, a strong sense of accomplishment welling up inside him.
It turns out that even in reality, I can become stronger by relying on the experiences in my dreams.
Although the process was much more difficult than in the dream and took a lot of effort, the result was ultimately good.
However, after calming down, Naruto also noticed a problem.
The same training took me only half a day in my dream, but in reality it took much longer, and my chakra control was far less smooth than in my dream.
He frowned: "Could it be that the real me... is not as good as the me in my dreams?"
This thought left Naruto somewhat disappointed.
But he quickly rallied, a confident smile playing on his lips: "It's okay! I can just practice a few more times in my dreams!"
After figuring it out, Naruto felt much more relaxed.
He casually stuffed the broken ball under the bed, tidied up briefly, changed into his signature orange tracksuit, and went out full of energy.
As soon as I opened the door, the fresh morning air greeted me.
Naruto strode along the streets of Konoha Village, jogging towards the training ground where Team 7 usually gathered.
Along the way, the villagers who saw him in twos and threes all had complicated expressions on their faces: disgust, wariness, and alienation...
It was as if he wasn't a living person, but some kind of dangerous beast.
Naruto had been used to that look since he was a child.
Naruto pursed his lips; he still preferred his dreams.
In his dreams, these people would warmly and affectionately call him "Young Master Naruto," and would always greet him with a smile when they met.
Naruto shook his head, ignoring the passersby pointing and whispering about him.
He quickened his pace and ran towards the training field, his mind only on seeing his teammates as soon as possible.
……
On the training ground.
Only one girl was standing there at that moment.
Her cherry-blossom hair shimmered slightly in the morning light, and she crossed her arms, seemingly waiting somewhat absentmindedly.
"Sakura!" Naruto spotted her from afar.
With that annoying Sasuke not around, a smile immediately lit up his face, and he excitedly ran over, "Good morning!"
Sakura turned around at the sound of the voice and saw that it was Naruto. Her calm expression immediately turned serious.
She frowned, quickly took several steps back, and stared at Naruto with disgust, her eyes filled with loathing, as if she wanted to avoid him at all costs.
Naruto's previously enthusiastic smile froze on his face, and he stopped in his tracks: "Sakura-chan, what's wrong with you?"
He scratched his head, looking at the other person with a puzzled expression.
This reaction is so strange. I didn't do anything to make her angry, so why does she suddenly look disgusted?
Sakura snorted coldly and turned her head away: "Hmph, you know perfectly well what's going on, stop pretending. You scumbag!"
"Huh?" Naruto scratched his head, looking completely bewildered. "Scumbag...scumbag? Sakura, are you talking about me?"
"Who else but you?" Sakura put her hands on her hips, her almond-shaped eyes wide open, looking at him with a disappointed expression. "I really didn't expect that you, who are usually so silly, would be so flirtatious when you have those kinds of dreams?"
"A dream?" Naruto was even more confused. Could it be that Sakura could know what he was dreaming about?
