At 2:30 PM, Wei Hongsi went downstairs and got into Lu Jiaqi's car, heading to the address Shen Qing had sent him. The two sat in the front, with Li Xuan in the back.

Lu Jiaqi hummed a song as she drove, a smile playing on her lips.

Wei Hongsi couldn't help but find it amusing: "Didn't you have something to do this afternoon?"

Lu Jiaqi said, "It's not urgent, I'll deal with it when I get back."

"So you could say you skipped class?" Wei Hongsi asked again.

"I'm just cooperating with you in your work, okay?" Lu Jiaqi said, unable to help but laugh. "To be honest, your reputation is quite useful to our General Manager Miao."

Wei Hongsi didn't have much contact with Miao Rui, the director of the Eighth Department, but Jiang Kai should have given Miao Rui instructions. The higher-ups knew the importance of this project, so it was normal for them to offer some support and preferential treatment.

He turned to Li Xuan and asked, "Are you one too?"

Wei Hongsi smiled and asked, "Would you be willing to help me with external coordination? Contacting Shen Qing is one of the tasks."

Li Xuan nodded again and gestured to Lu Jiaqi with her eyes.

Then Lu Jiaqi said, "Shen Qing is helping you with your research, but it's only a short-term collaboration. Can it continue indefinitely?"

Wei Hongsi said, "The research direction she is involved in can be continuously expanded, and it might even become a long-term project."

He didn't tell the two men about Shen Qing's "psychological virus" infection, only saying that he had been invited to participate in a joint research project. Shen Qing herself didn't require conventional treatment.

"Maybe? This isn't just an empty promise!" Lu Jiaqi pouted, then suddenly realized, "Hey? You're poaching people right in front of me!"

In the early stages of the project, there isn't much external coordination work, so asking Lu Jiaqi to help with the transition is a good option. A dedicated external liaison team can be established later when needed.

The drive took more than twenty minutes. Wei Hongsi had sent Lu Jiaqi's license plate number to Tang Jinxia beforehand. When they arrived at the address Shen Qing had given them, the security guard glanced at the license plate and let them through.

Lu Jiaqi drove the car into the underground parking lot. After the three of them got out of the car, they saw Tang Jinxia waiting at the elevator entrance. Wei Hongsi waved to her.

Tang Jinxia and the other two approached and greeted them warmly, then led them into the elevator to swipe their cards and go upstairs.

Tang Jinxia was truly surprised to receive the official invitation letter in the morning.

After exiting the elevator, Tang Jinxia led the three into the room and announced in a raised voice, "Qingqing, Teacher Wei is here."

Shen Qing came out and greeted the three of them with a smile.

She still remembered Lu Jiaqi. Lu Jiaqi was there the whole time on the day the amusement park reshot GG, and Ji Cheng even arranged for them to eat together. As for Li Xuan, she had only seen her once at the Jiangshang fan meeting, but there were too many people that day, so she didn't remember her much.

Wei Hongsi asked, "Is the equipment in place?"

The people from Zhiwei who delivered the equipment set off an hour earlier than Wei Hongsi and his team. By then, they had already installed the equipment and completed basic debugging. Shen Qing had specially vacated a room for them.

He went through the manual with Shen Qing from beginning to end.

Shen Qing listened attentively, occasionally asking questions that were all to the point, which reassured Wei Hongsi considerably.

After explaining all that, Wei Hongsi then focused on introducing Li Xuan and explained the responsibilities she would be in.

Shen Qing took out her phone from her pocket: "Then let's add each other's contact information."

Li Xuan quickly took out her phone and scanned the QR code with her.

Shen Qing smiled and said, "The new song isn't completely finished yet. I'll send it to you after I've finished revising it, and then you can give me your feedback."

Lu Jiaqi watched from the side, both surprised and puzzled.

These two seem to know each other very well. When did they become friends? Is it because of this collaboration?
