Chapter 254 – The “peaceful” way – Part 4.
"Well then, now that are all are finally here, how about we do little introductions?" – asked Ariava as she was sitting on the chair.
"My name is Ariava Byrawa."
"I’m known as the Witch Of Mad Lust."
"And you are?"
"..."
"Are we really doing that?" – asked the emperor.
"Hm? Why not? I mean, it is better if we start from the start and now build things up normally, since we had all now gathered." – replied Ariava.
(NORMAL MY ASS!) – thought both the emperor and duke.
(The moment the castle defenders and vampires came in, you freaking played with them!) You didn’t event left the room and you just freaking destroyed them all!)
(The fact alone that you were able to hold enough to not kill even a single person is even more scary.) – thought the duke Arthur.
(...And the fact that that you didn’t killed anybody isn’t really... Reassuring... Instead, it just make things far more terrifying.)
(However that isn’t the main problem.) – thought the emperor.
(She broke into the castle and straight up just took control over this part of the place!?)
(She didn’t even took the guards or knights serious! Even the vampires who tried to sneak in were instantly caught and dealt with before I could react.)
(Heavy security, guards and soldiers.... Nothing worked.)
(Just what the hell is this monster?)
"..."
(Not only that... When he came in... He was covered in sweat.) – thought the emperor as he looked at the middle-aged man with short bluish hair and dark eyes, who was wearing somewhat deceit clothing, not poor, but nothing also something extremely expensive at the same time.
The man looked... Simple per say.
Even though his hair was blue, he did not looked like anybody important.... However, at the same time, both duke and the king were worried.
Why?
Because that random "person" presence here.
(He really came here instantly?) – thought the emperor.
(Not only that... What is up with Arthur?) – thought the nervous emperor as he realized that the duke Arthur was handling the situation way worse than him, as he was started slowly getting covered from head to toes in sweat.
"By the way, I’m going to set up the silence barrier now, so we can have our conversation a bit secret per say." – said Ariava as she opened up her pocket space and took out a small cylinder-shaped device.
"Oh, and can one of them tell the people outside to not come in? Some of them should be waking up now, and I wouldn’t like some random people interrupting us."
"..."
(Seriously. She is acting like she own the entire place!) – thought the annoyed trio yet nervous trio.
"..."
"Can I do it?" – asked the emperor.
"Sure. But just so you know, don’t try to run." – replied Ariava.
"Oh, by the way, I’ve may or may not had inflicted them with a bit of hypnosis, so their memories will be bit... Well, let’s just say that they should have hard time recalling what happened just now."
"So make some excuse, unless you want me to slaughter them all."
"..."
"I understand." – replied the nervous emperor as he headed for the door.
"..."
The emperor walked out of the room, without being stopped even once by the demoness who just solei focused on putting her silence field.
"!"
"Your majesty!" – said the approaching knight who came in with a new way of reinforcement.
"Are you alright?!" – asked the extremely worried knight.
"Yes.... Everything is alright." – said the emperor.
"Stop! Don’t draw your blades!" – ordered the emperor as he noticed his people being ready to fight, which ended up confusing the reinforcement.
"???"
"Em... Why?" – asked the confused knight.
(She is fucking watching me; I can fucking tell it!) – thought the nervous emperor.
"...Listen to me very careful." – said the emperor.
"And I want you to listen to exactly what I say."
The emperor started commanding the reinforcement and the castle servants to move away the injured, while also making a fake story about unstable ancient artifact that apparently went out of control, causing this entire incident in the first place.
After somewhat cleaning up everything outside the entrance, the emperor just went back into the room.
"I’ve told my people to take care of the injured." – said the emperor who actually returned back to the room and sat down on the sofa.
"Oh, I thought you would run away." – said Ariava.
(Fuck you! I couldn’t see it, but I could tell that you were somehow keeping a watch on me!) – thought pissed off emperor.
(You are acting like a total bitch, but I fucking know that you are not some mindless idiot who does things at random.... And the fact alone that you are powerful enough to do all this stuff.... Yeah... Others must had already realized as well, that this woman is a monster.)
"Anyway, did you told them to not disturb us?" – asked Ariava.
"...Yes." – replied emperor.
"Good!" – said Ariava as she activated the device, which began unleashing countless magic circles in all directions that started sticking themselves to the surface of the room.
"The silence room is set. Now nobody could possibly hear our little conversation." – said Ariava.
"..."
"By the way, are you going to take off that disguise or not?" – asked Ariava as she looked in the blue haired man’s direction.
"Or do you prefer this human form of yours?"
"..."
"I will take it off." – said the man with blue hair as he reached for his nape.
Few moments later, the man’s appearance started changing, growing fangs and having his ears change shape, while also having his eyes, giving them a bright blue color while the its sclera turned red like blood.
"My name is Jiygur Dechudan." – said the pure vampire.
"I’m the duke rank vampire."
"And from what I’m understanding, you are the leader of the vampires in the empire, correct?"
"...Yes." – replied the vampire.
"And considering how fast you came here, it seems you knows about my name, yes?" – asked Ariava.
"....Yes..." – said Jiygur.
(I say that, but I was fucking ready to murder you alongside my subordinates!) – thought the nervous vampire.
(However....)
(I still don’t know if she real or not.)
(True, she has the pure vampire fangs.)
(But her eyes aren’t exactly like ours.... Maybe transformation?)
(Arthur said that she came in with a form of a dwarf.)
(The only reason why I agreed to come here was to defend the emperor.)
(Right now I’m ready to-)
"Strike down this imposter where she stands before she could do anything." – said Ariava.
"Is that what you think?"
"!?" – the vampire panicked as he realized that the woman in front of him somehow perfectly read out his thoughts out loud, which in turn made the man instantly open up a pocket space with one of his rings, which he then instantly reached out to with his hand and aimed to take out a weapon.
However, Ariava instantly put her hand on the man’s weapon’s handle, not giving him even a chance to take it out.
"!?"
(When did she?!) - Ariava stood instantly and blocked the man’s attempt to block the weapon and not only that, but the man tried putting his strength into his arm, trying to overpower the vampire... Only to not be able to move even a bit.
"Acting like you are visible nervous is good and all, I can tell that you are used to it." – said Ariava.
"However... Sometimes pretending and hiding too much in some situations can straight up betray you."
"Your plan was simple. Go inside of the room and protect the emperor, while pretend to get manipulated by a fake Ariava."
"However, here is an interesting thing."
"I’m not some imposter."
"And proof?"
"Here."
Ariava unleashed her mana, instantly overwhelming the entire room instantly.
...
The silencing device.
It wasn’t only here to hide the conversation between the people inside of the room.
No.
Ariava did not brough out this device to solei to make the conversation private.
The device that she activated to allow Ariava to unleash her "presence", without letting it leak to the outside.
And the moment they felt that "presence"? Mana, power, authority and nature of Ariava.
They were "devoured".
(What the hell is this?!) – thought the emperor as he was having hard time breathing and even moving around, as if his entire body was stuck inside of massive pool of mud.
(All of senses are straight up screaming at me!)
(I can’t breathe!) – thought the emperor as he and the duke had straight up solid problem with breathing, with a duke instantly falling on his knees, while the king himself fall on the sofa and couldn’t even lift up a finger.
(WHAT THE HELL IS THIS MONSTER!?)
The trio of the men instantly understood the moment they felt it.
Ariava could had wiped out the whole castle at the moment notice, with them inside of it.
A monster.
However, the one that was most terrified out of the trio?
The vampire.
He knows the name Ariava Byrawa.
And now his brain pretty much instantly connected the dots.
(SHE IS THE REAL DEAL?!) – the vampire was instantly consumed by fear, realizing that the legendary figure, a nightmare to many, was right now standing right in front of him.
"..."
"Get it now?" – asked Ariava with a smile as she snapped her fingers, which was fallowed up with her ’presence’ instantly disappearing.
And as the presence disappeared, both the emperor and the duke started trying to breath once again, while the vampire himself just stood in place, completely consumed by a fear and sweating nonstop.
"I was acting like a bitch that owns the place because I can do that." – said Ariava.
"If you don’t want your castle or just entire city to get exterminated instantly alongside all of your people, then you better listen to me." – said Ariava
It wasn’t an empty threat.
The trio knew that after feeling this "presence", they knew instantly that the woman in front of them was not lying.
They could instantly imagine the entire city, all of its people, burning in fire, as their screams echoing everywhere.
The DOOM.
That is what they realized would happened if they would make the monster in front of them their enemy.
"!"
"FINE! *Cough* FINE! I SAID FUCKING FINE!" – said the emperor who instantly replied, even when still not fully catching his breath.
"What the hell do you want!?"
"Hm? Didn’t you heard me before?" – asked Ariava as she sat down once again.
"I’m here to do the business."
"And if possible."
"I would like it to be friendly."
