Compared to usual, she exuded a more languid and charming aura.

"nothing."

Kitazawa smiled and said, "I'll go ask Senior Sister Shizune for leave."

Tsunade sat on the sofa and waited.

"Would you like to take a nap?"

Kitazawa reappeared, and seeing her with her eyes closed, he couldn't help but ask.

"Need not."

Tsunade stood up, suddenly brimming with fighting spirit. "I'm so excited right now, I'm ready to dominate the casino!"

Kitazawa twitched the corner of his mouth.

Don't you have any idea who was killed?

Night fell.

Nothing miraculous happened that afternoon.

Tsunade, unwilling to accept her crushing defeat, followed Kitazawa home.

A week goes by quickly.

December 27th is Hinata Hyuga's birthday.

Since it was a dinner party, Kitazawa didn't rush to the Hyuga clan's residence.

As in previous years, he arrived at the Ninja Academy.

As is customary, he pointed out the problems in the training of the genius students, and then found a place to practice Wood Release: Wood Splintering Technique.

As dusk fell, he arrived at the Hokage's office.

For Hinata Hyuga's birthday this year, the Hyuga clan did not hold a grand celebration, but rather a private family banquet.

The only guests were Tsunade and Kitazawa.

The reason lies in the improved version of the Caged Bird, which is now called the Guardian Sign.

Kitazawa, as the creator of ninjutsu, deserves the most direct credit.

Tsunade is the Hokage, and she supported this effort from behind the scenes. Although she didn't show her face, she still deserves credit.

"It's time to have dinner, Tsunade-sensei."

Kitazawa pushed open the door, but didn't go in. He stood at the doorway and called out.

"Let's go."

Tsunade stood up and came to him.

Her work was already finished.

"Ah."

Kitazawa nodded and casually closed the door.

Have you noticed the recent movements of the Land of Rain and Amegakure?

Tsunade suddenly thought of something and asked.

"You mean they sold rainwater to the Land of Wind?"

Kitazawa countered with a question.

He wasn't actually surprised that Tsunade knew about this.

After all, with such a commotion, any Konoha ninja who wasn't blind would have noticed it.

"Ah."

Tsunade nodded.

"Tsunade-sensei, are you worried about Hanzo?"

Kitazawa immediately realized what was happening.

Although Hanzo is dead, only a few people know this news.

"Hanzo was ambitious and powerful, and extremely dangerous, but he went into seclusion after the Second Shinobi World War."

Tsunade replied, "Selling rainwater is the only major thing he's done in recent years."

Kitazawa thought to himself that this was quite an accident.

But Tsunade was right too.

The fact that the Land of Rain and Amegakure had suddenly started selling rainwater was seen as very suspicious by Konoha.

"Your Anbu can take this opportunity to investigate Hanzo's current situation."

"Tsunade gave the order."

The Hidden Rain Village and the Land of Rain have always maintained a closed policy, and the spies sent by the Hidden Leaf Village have all lost contact.

In other words, Hanzo has been silent for twenty years.

Tsunade didn't think that someone with his personality would be so obedient and well-behaved.

After all, he was a powerful figure back in the day, and even the title of the Legendary Sannin of Konoha was bestowed upon him.

Selling rainwater involves many people, including sellers from the Land of Wind.

The Anbu can disguise themselves as sellers and infiltrate the Land of Rain and Amegakure.

"After the New Year, I will have the secret service investigate this matter."

Kitazawa thought for a moment and then said.

He felt he could take this opportunity to give Tsunade a basic understanding of the Akatsuki organization.

The two walked and talked, and soon arrived at the Hyuga clan's residence.

"Lord Hokage."

Hiashi Hyuga, who was waiting at the door, called out hurriedly.

"Teacher Kitazawa."

Hinata Hyuga and Hanabi Hyuga shouted in unison.

Neji Hyuga, however, was a step behind.

"Hiashi, it seems you don't need to worry about the future of the Hyuga clan anymore. Three geniuses have emerged all at once."

Tsunade glanced at them and said.

"You flatter me, Lord Hokage."

Hiashi Hyuga shook his head and said, "Hanabi is young, and we don't know how talented she is yet."

"If her sister is so talented, she certainly won't be too bad."

Tsunade said with a smile.

"Thank you, Lord Hokage!"

Hinata Hanabi answered frankly.

Hinata Hyuga, however, looked embarrassed upon hearing this.

"I'll have to trouble Kitazawa to teach her then."

Hiashi Hyuga looked at Kitazawa and said.

Of course, he was referring to the gifted class.

Although he did want Kitazawa to become Hinata Hanabi's mentor, it was clearly unlikely.

For Hiashi Hyuga, or rather many others, the students in the gifted program and regular students are completely different concepts.

The former are students in name only, and are not valuable.

The latter is the true successor and a candidate for Hokage of Konoha Village.

However, Hiashi Hyuga was relieved that Neji Hyuga and Hinata Hyuga had a high chance of becoming Kitazawa's formal students.

"I will."

Kitazawa patted Hinata Hanabi's head and said.

"Thank you, Kitazawa-sensei!"

Hinata Hanabi said with a big smile, "I will try my best to catch up with my older sister!"

"Lord Hokage, Kitazawa, please come in."

Hiashi Hyuga raised his hand and said.

Tsunade nodded, crossed the courtyard, and entered the living room.

The first thing you see is a huge dining table, covered with all kinds of dishes and wine.

Kitazawa was pulled into the living room by Hinata Hanabi.

Hinata Hyuga watched with a hint of envy.

Although her personality has changed somewhat, she still can't be as casual as Hinata Hanabi in front of so many people.

"Is it just the few of us?"

Tsunade asked, somewhat surprised.

She had thought that such a large table of food would have at least ten people, but she was surprised to find that there were only seven of them.

Besides her and Kitazawa, there's the Hyuga couple, as well as Hyuga Neji, Hyuga Hinata, and Hyuga Hanabi.

"Children's birthdays should not be celebrated with excessive extravagance."

Hiashi Hyuga said with a smile.

"There's already so much food wasted; I doubt we can finish it all in one meal."

Tsunade shook her head and said.

That's not necessarily true.

Kitazawa glanced at Hinata Hyuga and said.

Hinata Hyuga lowered her head and nervously poked at her fingers.

"Children need to eat more to grow taller."

Reminded by Kitazawa, Tsunade remembered that Hinata Hyuga had a huge appetite, enough to eat ten people in one.

"Shall we start now?"

Hiashi Hyuga looked at Tsunade and asked.

"I am a guest, so I will follow the host's lead."

Tsunade waved her hand and said.

"Everyone's here, let's eat now."

As Hiashi Hyuga spoke, he poured Tsunade a cup of sake, saying, "This is a fine sake from the Land of Lightning."

"I've had it before, and it's much spicier than the sake from Konoha Village."

After Tsunade finished speaking, she took a sip, nodded, and said, "It really does taste the same."

"As expected of the Hokage, he is very knowledgeable."

Hiashi Hyuga praised it.

The birthday dinner came to a close in a joyful atmosphere.

But Kitazawa suffered after the meal.

Because Tsunade drank too much, she could barely walk.

Left with no other choice, Kitazawa had to carry her back on his back.

But Tsunade, having drunk alcohol, was very restless, twisting and turning on his back.
