Many things can only be accomplished with time.

"You all have class, I need to go out for a bit."

Kitazawa suddenly thought of something and said with a smile, "We'll have to invite one more person for the barbecue tonight."

He was referring to Hiruzen Sarutobi.

This is a good opportunity to talk to him about making him a teacher at the ninja academy.

After saying goodbye to Kosuke Maruboshi and Kakashi Hatake, Kitazawa left the Ninja Academy and went to the Sarutobi clan's residence.

This was his first time visiting the Sarutobi clan's territory, but to his surprise, he received a warm welcome.

Chapter 276 Tsunade's Kiss on the Forehead

Kitazawa met Hiruzen Sarutobi under the guidance of a member of the Sarutobi clan.

He was sitting by the pond, holding a fishing rod, his eyes fixed on the water.

Kitazawa sensed something subtle.

Is fishing the ultimate destination for all middle-aged and elderly people?

"Why do you have time to visit a retired old man like me?"

Hiruzen Sarutobi glanced at him and asked with a smile.

"I feel that the third generation of adults has a much better mindset than before."

Kitazawa walked up to him and said with a smile.

Although Hiruzen Sarutobi has retired, he was, after all, Hokage.

Therefore, Kitazawa made some changes to his way of addressing people.

"It's natural to be in a good mood when you're not working."

Hiruzen Sarutobi suddenly remembered something and moved the bucket next to Kitazawa to the other side.

He moved his chair so that he could block the bucket with his body.

"Then should I give the Third Generation Lord some more work?"

Kitazawa ignored Hiruzen Sarutobi's micro-management and asked.

"Could it be Xiaochun and the others again?"

Upon hearing this, Hiruzen Sarutobi frowned.

He had already warned them, so why did they still act recklessly?

"It has nothing to do with the two Hokage advisors."

Kitazawa realized he had misunderstood and quickly explained, "I'd like to ask you to be the teacher of the gifted class."

"I didn't expect you to still remember this."

Hiruzen Sarutobi paused for a moment, then said.

"The Third Hokage's strength is extraordinary, and his retirement is a great loss to Konoha Village."

Kitazawa immediately said, "That's precisely why I wanted to invite you to attend the genius class."

What exactly are the arrangements?

Hiruzen Sarutobi pondered for a moment, then smiled and said, "If there's too much work, I won't do it."

“You can be the homeroom teacher of the gifted class; there are no strict teaching quotas.”

Kitazawa replied, "Go to whichever class you want to attend, or just watch Naruto and the others train if you don't want to attend class."

Hiruzen Sarutobi was, after all, a former Hokage; it wouldn't be appropriate for him to be just an ordinary teacher.

Kitazawa abdicated and gave him the position of homeroom teacher for the genius class.

But he was still the vice principal of the ninja academy.

In other words, Hiruzen Sarutobi became his subordinate.

"So loose?"

Hiruzen Sarutobi raised an eyebrow and asked, somewhat surprised.

He thought Kitazawa would arrange a few lessons for him, but none of them came of it.

“We can handle the daily classes for the gifted students, but we are still missing a teacher to fill in the gaps in their knowledge.”

Kitazawa explained, "You are the most suitable, as you can point out our shortcomings."

Simply put, he's a backup plan.

"You have a point."

Hiruzen Sarutobi nodded in agreement and said, "In that case, I agree."

Kitazawa's offer to him was simply unbeatable.

Theoretically speaking, whether he attends class or not depends entirely on his mood.

Having come this far, he naturally had no reason to refuse.

Besides, he also wanted to visit Naruto and the others from time to time.

"Lord Hokage, are you free tonight?"

Kitazawa told him about Uchiha Sasuke and the others treating everyone to dinner.

"I will be there on time."

Hiruzen Sarutobi immediately agreed.

He felt guilty towards Naruto Uzumaki.

After all, he had promised Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki that he would take good care of him, but he failed to do so in many ways.

"Then we will await your arrival."

Once Kitazawa saw that the matter was settled, he said goodbye and turned to leave.

On the playground of the ninja academy.

The gifted students are training.

Kitazawa casually gave them some pointers and then left behind a shadow clone.

He arrived at an open space not far from the playground.

The whistling wind came from a great distance.

Kitazawa looked up and saw a dense crowd of Naruto Uzumaki.

However, his gaze quickly fell on Shino Aburame.

He was controlling the parasitic insects to constantly counter Naruto's Wind Release: Shuriken.

Kitazawa watched for a while and then understood Shino Aburame's purpose.

He wanted to mutate a parasitic insect that could withstand the cutting power of wind-style attacks.

Although Naruto Uzumaki is not yet very skilled at Wind Release: Shuriken.

"Teacher Kitazawa!"

Naruto saw him and immediately shouted enthusiastically.

Shino Aburame wiped the sweat from her forehead and took the opportunity to catch her breath.

He was under immense pressure facing Naruto Uzumaki's relentless attacks.

"Shino."

Kitazawa spoke up, "Regarding the parasitic insects that resist wind-style attacks, I think there's another direction for their evolution."

He had at least triggered the relevant system task, so he had to participate to avoid failing to complete it.

"Teacher Kitazawa, please speak."

Shino Aburame immediately became serious.

"The parasite can use the enemy's wind to accelerate."

Kitazawa replied.

"It seems feasible!"

Shino Aburame paused for a moment, then her eyes lit up after a few seconds of thought.

"Just like the previous fireflies and waterflies, they can mutate into two different windflies."

Kitazawa said with a smile.

"Thank you, Kitazawa-sensei. I will do my best."

Shino Aburame nodded and said.

In his view, parasitic insects that could accelerate by taking advantage of the enemy's wind were more useful than that little bit of wind resistance.

Kitazawa's words also gave him another perspective: opposition and transformation are both viable options.

"That sounds really profound."

Naruto scratched his head and said.

"Since you don't understand the situation, you'll only understand half of what you hear."

Kitazawa paused for a moment, then said, "Come with me, I have something to ask you."

He turned around and walked to a spot a short distance away, where he stopped.

Naruto Uzumaki took a few steps forward and stood in front of him.

Shino Aburame was quite self-aware; she turned away and didn't look at them.

How are things going with that fox?

Kitazawa looked at Naruto Uzumaki and asked.

"fox?"

Naruto Uzumaki paused for a moment before realizing that he was referring to the Nine-Tails.

However, the Nine-Tailed Fox does indeed look like a fox.

If she weren't so big, she would probably be quite cute.

"Nothing has changed."

Naruto Uzumaki pulled himself back from his wandering thoughts, shook his head, and said.

"Looks like we need to think of a solution."

Kitazawa stroked his chin and said, "Ask it sometime if it wants to hear about Madara Uchiha's unofficial history."

"Are they the stories you told me before?"

Naruto Uzumaki said with great interest, "I want to hear it!"

"I told you to ask it."

Kitazawa tapped his forehead with his finger and said, "I didn't ask if you wanted to hear it."

Naruto Uzumaki chuckled.

"You should start cultivating."

Kitazawa reminded him, "Remember to be at the barbecue restaurant on time tonight; the Third Hokage will be there too."

"Three generations of grandfathers?"

Naruto Uzumaki immediately exclaimed happily, "I definitely won't be late!"

After leaving the Ninja Academy, Kitazawa went to the Hokage's office.

To his surprise, Tsunade was not there.

He didn't ask any more questions, and sat on the sofa to refine his chakra.
