Chapter 233 The Triumph of the Three: The Dance Party in Progress
Chapter 233 The Triumph of the Three: The Dance Party in Progress
Summon your owl and have it deliver a little note to Ron.
"Come on, sit here and rest." I pulled Harry out of the sofa cushions and let him sit properly on the sofa to rest before I cleaned up the dishes we had just finished eating and took them to wash.
When I came back with some washed fruit, Harry was nodding off.
It seems we can't eat any more fruit, so we simply wrapped ourselves up in the blankets again, picked us up, and carried us back to our room to sleep.
"Ayers~ I'm so tired~ I want to rest~" It seems she was really exhausted, she was starting to drift off to sleep in my arms.
"Go to sleep, I won't bother you anymore." He gently put her down on the bed, then quickly lay down himself, opening the door a little bit.
Holding Harry, she closed her eyes and fell asleep together.
The morning light streamed gently through the window, bathing everything in a soft, warm glow.
I held Harry as I fell asleep last night, and now he's quietly curled up in my arms like a docile kitten.
My biological clock woke me up on time. I slowly opened my eyes and saw his peaceful sleeping face.
His eyelashes trembled slightly, and a faint smile played at the corners of his lips; he must have been having a sweet dream.
My gaze followed the bridge of his nose and slid down to his slightly rosy lips, and an indescribable tenderness welled up in my heart.
I moved my body very gently, afraid of disturbing him.
One hand still firmly encircled his waist, while the other gently stroked the hair on his head.
My movements were as gentle as a breeze brushing against flower petals; I didn't want any noise to disturb this tranquility and beauty.
Then, I leaned down slightly and placed a gentle kiss on his smooth forehead.
This kiss was filled with my endless love and longing for him. He seemed to sense this intimacy, letting out a soft hum in his sleep, snuggling closer to me, his smile growing even wider.
I continued to kiss him gently along the corner of his eye.
As I lightly touched his skin with my nose, I could smell the faint scent of the same blue rose shower gel that I used yesterday—my favorite fragrance.
My kiss slowly moved down, landing on his tender cheek, like a feather touching him. The tingling sensation perhaps reached his dreams, for his eyelids twitched, and he slowly opened his emerald eyes.
He was still sleepy, with a hint of confusion in his eyes. When he saw me, he was stunned for a moment, and then a sweet smile appeared on his lips.
"Good morning~ Ayers~" His voice was still a little hoarse from just waking up.
"Good morning, Harry," I whispered in response, and then gave him a light kiss on the lips.
Harry wrapped his arms around my neck, his flushed cheeks and ears telling me he was still very shy.
I hugged him tightly, feeling our heartbeats intertwined.
In this tranquil morning, time seems to stand still for us; everything is so beautiful and warm.
"Harry, do you want the school to know about our relationship?" I asked Harry curiously. I respected him; if he wanted to tell us, we could announce it, and if he didn't want to, we could keep it a secret.
“I don’t really want to, especially not my godfather.” Harry couldn’t imagine what would happen if Sirius found out about his relationship with Ayers.
"Harry, there are some things I don't want to hide from you. I won't only have one partner." I know I'm a jerk, but I don't want to hide anything. Sirius is also one of my targets. If I don't make things clear, my relationship with Harry will definitely be ruined.
“Actually, I can sense it.” Harry has always sensed that the few people I get along well with are all connected to me in some way.
It could also be due to the "sugar daddy" system; they are all connected in some way, and this connection might become more obvious when they become my people.
"Let's get up then." Since Harry can sense it, I won't say anything more. There are still some things I can't say right now.
With one arm around Harry's waist, she sat up with him, holding him close in her arms, but then felt a little reluctant to move.
“Ayers!” Harry, who was sitting in my lap, thought it was just a sweet morning moment, but he didn’t expect my head on his shoulder to be getting a little restless.
Seeing Harry's neck made me want to kiss it, so I did just that and gently bit his neck a few times.
"No... there will be marks." Harry's voice trembled slightly; he could sense something awakening.
"I have class today, I won't do anything reckless." He let go after licking for a while. He had already been satisfied yesterday, so he would let this person go today.
Smiling, she led the person, whose face was flushed and who was slightly out of breath, to the washroom to freshen up.
When Harry and I appeared in the Great Hall as usual, Harry was immediately surrounded by Ron and Hermione asking him what had happened yesterday. I also went to sit down next to Cedric.
"Harry, why did you and Ayers leave so quickly after your match yesterday? Ron and I couldn't find you." Hermione whispered to Harry. She wasn't in the boys' dormitory, so she didn't know that Harry hadn't returned to the common room last night.
“I had something to discuss with Ayers yesterday, about the second competition, so we left together.” Harry’s ears burned a little as he recalled what happened yesterday, but thankfully his hair covered a bit of it, so it wasn’t too noticeable.
“I know, I received a letter from Senior Ayers last night saying that you guys were discussing things very late and weren’t planning to come back to sleep.” Ron chimed in to explain.
"Hmm." Harry didn't want to talk about what happened yesterday anymore, so he changed the subject by asking about other things.
“I spent the whole night with Harry,” Cedric said with a smile, and he said it as a fact.
"Hmm~" I smiled back. I knew Cedric was the most observant person, and he must have figured out something between Harry and me.
"When will you ask me out for a night?" Cedric asked me with a smile.
"If you want, I'm available anytime." Since Seid himself invited me, how could I possibly refuse?
“You seem pretty busy right now, you can ask me out sometime,” Cedric said with a smile, then seemed to remember something and said to me, “Ayers, have you thought of anyone to invite to dance?”
"Dancing? Do you think Professor Snape would refuse if I asked him?" Suddenly, she thought playfully that she should ask Severus to dance.
“Ayers, I have to admire your courage.” Fred, who had just arrived at the hall, sat down opposite us.
“Indeed, it’s hard to imagine Professor Snape dancing with you,” George said, sitting down beside him.
“He’s my mentor outside, and my guardian at home. It seems like it would be nice to have him dance with me.” I almost let slip that he was my lover, but I quickly changed the subject to his guardian.
“Then go and try asking Professor Snape, see if he'll agree.” Cedric knew that I had a different relationship with Severus, and he thought it was perfectly normal for me to invite Severus to dance.
"I'll go to the cellar tonight and ask. Have you found a dance partner yet?" I was really planning to go ask Severus.
"I guess so. We invited two girls from our college to be our dance partners," Fred said while eating breakfast. He knew very well that he couldn't possibly invite Ayers to be his dance partner at school, since Ayers was a boy.
“We’ve already found a pair of sisters to be our dance partners.” George knew he couldn’t find Ayles to be his dance partner at school, but he and Fred were quite accepting of it.
"What about Cedric?" I looked at Cedric curiously, wondering if he would follow the plot of his previous life or invite Cho Chang to be his dance partner.
Although I ruined his chances of participating in the Triwizard Tournament, I really don't know if Cedric knows Cho Chang in his private time. Maybe they meet somewhere else, at a different time.
“A female student in our college asked me to be her dance partner, and I’ve already agreed.” Cedric noticed my gaze and seemed to sense my momentary displeasure.
He looked at me with an even bigger smile, as if he thought I was jealous.
I sensed that Cedric had misunderstood something, but when I heard that he wasn't Yueqiu Zhang's dance partner, I smiled at him indifferently.
Fred and George, sitting across from us, were both a little confused as they watched Cedric and me laughing so happily.
Today's classes were normal, except that each grade had an extra etiquette dance class, taught by Professor McGonagall.
I am honored to have been chosen by Professor McGonagall as a model and appointed as a dance teacher to teach all the young wizards to dance.
"First, when the ball begins, the two people should face each other, the man slightly bowing and the woman gracefully curtsying," Professor McGonagall's voice echoed in the dance studio.
I stood face to face with a female classmate who was also chosen to demonstrate for me. She was also a Slytherin student, and her family had studied etiquette and dance, so Professor McGonagall chose her to be the representative.
In the exchange of glances, an unspoken understanding was reached.
The music began softly, a beautiful melody woven from strings and woodwinds, the notes seeming to come alive, leaping and swirling in the air.
With the rhythm in hand, we took the first step.
Her steps were light and steady, like a gentle breeze rippling across a lake, creating only delicate ripples.
I gently grasped the lady's fingertips with my strong hand and slowly rotated her around.
The lady, like a graceful butterfly, moved with light and delicate grace, her skirt billowing as she twirled, like a blooming flower. Every movement strictly adhered to the rules of dance, her turns, glides, and pauses precise and fluid, showcasing unparalleled elegance and harmony.
After the performance, we quickly separated and stood in our places. Then it was the turn of the other young wizards to practice the dance steps and the etiquette of inviting others to dance in pairs.
The girl and I also paired up to provide guidance and correct the mistakes of the young wizards.
It got dark quickly. I didn't plan to have dinner in the hall or auditorium tonight. As soon as the dance class ended, I went straight to Severus's cellar.
"What are you doing here in such a hurry?" Severus was still sitting there working, with a huge pile of student assignments and papers on his desk that needed to be graded.
"Let me help you correct some of your homework." Originally, she had planned to invite Severus to be her dance partner, but seeing how busy he was and feeling sorry for him being so tired, she simply took a stack of homework scrolls and helped him correct them.
Severus merely glanced up at me before continuing to grade assignments.
Neither of us are procrastinators, so it took us two hours to finally finish the last scroll.
"Speak, what do you want?" Finally able to get some rest, Severus picked up his coffee and took a small sip.
"I've come to ask you to be my opening dance partner." I tidied up all the scrolls of homework I had helped Severus with.
"Pfft!" Severus spat out the coffee he hadn't swallowed yet, but luckily I dodged it quickly.
"Severus, don't get so worked up." I smiled and took out a handkerchief to wipe the coffee from Severus's mouth.
"Ayers, aren't you afraid everyone will gossip about you after you invite me to be your dance partner?" Severus, now calm, stared at me seriously, trying to make sure I wasn't joking.
“Severus, I sincerely invite you to be my dance partner.” I lifted Severus’s right hand with my left hand and kissed the ring on his ring finger.
Severus picked up his wand and locked the door to his office.
I waved my wand, and a transparent water barrier enveloped the area.
“I agree.” Severus reached out the hand I was holding, grabbed my collar, and pulled me down.
Before I could react, my body was involuntarily pulled down by him.
This sudden movement startled me, and I almost lost my balance and fell right into his arms.
In the instant my body rapidly descended, my gaze met his.
His eyes, like deep lakes, were filled with passionate and unadulterated love, a light that seemed to engulf me completely.
As we drew closer, I could feel his warm breath gently brushing against my face, carrying a faint herbal scent—his unique aroma that was intoxicating.
His gaze remained fixed on me without flinching, as if he wanted to imprint this moment of deep affection into my heart.
When my face was close enough to him, he gently pulled me right in front of him.
Then, his lips gently pressed against mine.
The touch was soft and warm, like a feather gently touching, yet it carried endless affection.
His lips parted slightly, a hint of probing mixed with longing.
My heart, which had been racing a little, gradually became steady and strong during that kiss.
I slowly closed my eyes, immersing myself in this wonderful moment. One hand unconsciously reached towards the back of his head, pressing him tightly, while the other hand braced itself on the armrest of the chair.
His kiss grew more passionate, his tongue gently gliding across my lips as if searching for something.
I opened my mouth slightly, and our tongues intertwined. In that moment, time seemed to stand still, everything around us disappeared, leaving only our breaths and heartbeats, and that passionate and deep love.
The firelight from the fireplace in the cellar shone on us, casting long shadows of our tightly embracing and kissing figures on the ground, like an eternal painting.
This unexpected kiss was filled with his love and affection for me, and I was so deeply immersed in this sweet and tender feeling that I didn't want to wake up.
