Chapter 193: Beat Remus Lupin Up
Chapter 193: Beat Remus Lupin Up
The next day, the students in the Defense Against the Dark Arts class noticed that Professor Remus Lupin, who taught the class, was walking with a limp and had developed a black eye.
"Professor Lupin, what happened to you?" Every young wizard who came to class was extremely curious when they saw the disfigured Defense Against the Dark Arts professor.
"It's nothing, just a fight with someone I know." Remus Lupin grinned.
Today I was in Severus's class. When Severus saw me, he could tell that something seemed off when I raised my arm. Every time I raised my left arm, I subconsciously frowned.
When get out of class ended, Severus kept me behind.
“Tell me, what happened?” Severus looked at me seriously.
“I had a fight with Remus Lupin,” I answered truthfully without hiding anything.
"Why did you fight that werewolf?" Severus looked at me unhappily.
“He insulted you, and I got angry, so I challenged him to a fight.” I pressed my injured arm and turned to the side, trying to hide my hand from Severus.
"Hold out your hand." Upon hearing that he was the one who had fought with the werewolf, all of Severus's unhappiness immediately vanished, replaced by a warm feeling in his heart.
"I've already taken care of it." She looked at Severus with a pitiful expression, reluctant to raise her hand.
"Let me see where you're hurt." Severus held out his hand, as if he wanted me to hold it out myself.
With no other option, under Severus's watchful gaze, I could only slowly raise my left hand and place it on his.
Severus gently rolled up my sleeve and saw that my entire arm was wrapped in gauze and was slightly bleeding.
"How did you get injured so badly?" Severus frowned; the area of the injury was quite large.
"It wasn't caused by magic; it was just that I was hit by sharp branches after being knocked away, so the injured area is a bit long." Neither Remus Lupin nor I had expected this.
"Who won in the end?" Severus asked curiously.
"I've never lost a fight." This statement is not an exaggeration; I really haven't lost a single time since coming to this magical world.
"Untie those bandages, I'll treat you." Severus took out a healing potion from his collection of finished products.
"Okay." I had just treated Severus's wounds two days ago, and now it was my turn.
He took off one side of his shirt, revealing his entire left arm, and used his mouth and right hand to untie the knot, causing the bandage to loosen and slip down.
"It might hurt a little, just bear with it." Severus only noticed my still-bleeding wound now. It really was a long cut from the branch, a huge gash across my entire arm.
Severus poured the healing potion from top to bottom, and the wound on my arm stopped bleeding and began to heal slowly.
"Hmm~" There's a slight pain and itchiness, but it's bearable.
"It seems to be working well. I'll wrap it with gauze again, and you should be better by tomorrow." After applying the medicine, Severus wrapped the bandage around me again.
"Okay, thank you, Severus." After Severus finished treating my wound, I put on my school uniform.
“Don’t do that again, even if it’s for my sake.” Severus looked at me reproachfully.
"That Remus Lupin is a bit despicable. He was intentionally insulting you, and I couldn't stand it, so I challenged him to a fight." It really was an impulsive act. I was just walking down the corridor when I heard those Slytherin wizards talking, and I remembered the scene from my previous life. So I went straight to Remus Lupin and challenged him to a fight. Getting injured was just an accident.
"Alright, go eat. You've been here a bit too long. The group of people who are usually with you must have been waiting for you for a long time." Severus began to urge them to leave.
"Then I'll be leaving now." I knew that group of people would definitely be waiting for me before they ate.
After a hasty farewell to Severus, he went to the Great Hall.
A few more days passed, and today, as third-year students, we finally had the opportunity to visit Hogsmeade Village on the weekend. It was a village full of wizards, running all sorts of interesting shops.
However, there was a condition before he could go: he needed a guardian's signature. But Harry had spent most of his holiday at my house, and he forgot to get his aunt and uncle to sign the papers. He also knew that his aunt and uncle might not sign them anyway, so in the end he had to stay at school alone.
Harry stood on the bridge, gazing at the babbling water below, his heart filled with longing for Hogsmeade Village.
He knew that as a third-grade student without a parent's signature, he couldn't go there.
“Harry.” A gentle voice came from behind him.
Harry turned around and saw Professor Remus Lupin. He was wearing an old robe, his hair was a little messy, but his eyes were gentle.
“Professor,” Harry greeted.
"What are you doing here?" Professor Lupin asked.
“I…I just wanted to see Hogsmeade Village,” Harry said somewhat embarrassedly.
Professor Lupin smiled, walked over to Harry, and together they gazed at the flowing water beneath the bridge.
“I understand how you feel,” Professor Lupin said. “I was once just like you, longing for Hogsmeade Village.”
Harry looked at Professor Lupin in surprise.
He never imagined that Professor Luping would feel the same way.
“You know what? Your parents and I are good friends,” Professor Lupin said. “We went to Hogwarts together and had many wonderful times together.”
A warm feeling welled up in Harry's heart.
He had never met his parents, but he knew they must be very outstanding people.
“Your father was a very brave man,” Professor Lupin said. “He always dared to face any challenge and never backed down.”
Harry nodded.
He had heard about his father's brave deeds from others, and he was proud to have such a father.
“Your mother was also a very outstanding person,” Professor Lu Ping said. “She was intelligent, kind, and always cared about others.”
Harry's eyes were glistening with tears.
He never imagined that his parents were like this.
“I miss them so much,” Harry said.
Professor Lupin patted Harry on the shoulder and said, "They must miss you very much. They'll be very proud of you."
Harry nodded.
He knew that his parents were always in his heart, and they would always be with him.
“Alright, we should go back now,” Professor Lupin said. “Otherwise, Professor McGonagall will worry.”
Harry and Professor Lupin returned to the school together.
On the way back, Harry's heart was filled with warmth and strength.
He knew he was not alone; many people cared about him and supported him.
