There was a single drop beside the vulture, it was a spear and since it was dropped from a level three beast, it was given that it was level three...
Lukas collected the loot and crystal before moving to look for another D beast.
"Shouldn’t we rest for some time to recover?" Leah was a little skeptical in telling him anything to do, as till now he had just done the opposite.
She was right it seemed, as the moment Lukas heard that, he increased his speed further, "We have a lot to hunt and less time, so keep moving..."
Lukas smirked inwardly, it was true that time was of the essence, before they decided to hunt a level four dead walker, he wanted to level up his bow but the real reason he was keeping up his pace was to exhaust Leah completely.
They were already too deep inside the mountainous terrain and if he wanted he could even assault her here to have some good quality time, a common occurrence in this lawless world but that would also mean making an enemy of the whole military camp, or maybe not given his value.
Nonetheless, even if this was a moral-less world, he wouldn’t do something like that. His sister would never like that and he also was reluctant in his heart to do something to even a stranger while Leah had somewhat become his friend.
There was one thing he could do though, soft manipulations, if Leah agreed of her own choice albeit forced by some circumstances then it wasn’t his fault because in the end she would definitely have the choice to reject.
The only problem was how should he manipulate her. Leah seemed to be a cheerful and social person with an outgoing personality but that was just an illusion.
She had a strong will and that could definitely make this process slow and it might take a few days with Leah definitely getting aware of his intentions but he doubted she would call him out since it would mean breaking their ties completely.
That would be a huge loss for her team and not to mention it was normal for a man to get interested in her due to her beauty, she definitely would have experienced it before no doubt about it.
So, he could definitely try some things to get in her pants...
Leah definitely loved Leon and they seemed to have a long relationship somehow. It was hard to believe that they met in the military camp itself.
It seemed he should just ask about her personal life, if she didn’t mind then he would slowly take this conversation in the direction he wanted...but first..."Let’s exhaust her a little more..."
As they moved deeper they encountered more and more D beasts, Lukas was having a blast hunting them while Leah was panting heavily. She was already on her last leg.
She wanted to beg for rest but she wasn’t able to because the D beasts were so much in this area that these beasts kept running into them.
"I am too tired..."
Leah groaned in annoyance while taking rest against a tree but suddenly a snake lurched at her from the top, "Fuck—"
Lukas was nearby so he pulled her by the hand and attacked with the short sword which he got from a level three D beast just a moment ago.
The sword pierced the head of the snake, while Leah bumped into his chest. Her body was trembling in fear due to what had just happened. She might have died just now...
As for the fact that she was almost hugging a man who was not Leon didn’t come to mind in this fearful state. She didn’t even feel the slowly hardening protrusion poking her stomach.
Lukas smiled slightly, a very good chance to manipulate her had come and he wasn’t going to miss it. He looked at the tree intently.
The tree was big but the canopy had thin branches with only one branch thick enough to hold the two of them. The main interesting fact was that this branch was thick only for a small part making it suitable for only one person to comfortably sit.
"Leah, I can hear some other D beasts in the area so it’s better to rest now...sigh, you shouldn’t have tagged along with me..."
Leah came back to her senses as she heard Lukas’ voice. Her eyes slightly squinted as she felt the hardness poking around her stomach...
She wanted to back off but all that exhaustion had finally kicked in making her body feel far heavier than imagination, not to mention her legs were still trembling due to the inherent reaction of fear from her body.
In the end she wasn’t able to back off and stayed inside Lukas’ chest while feeling his hard dick on her stomach. She gritted her teeth inwardly.
Hearing Lukas’ words made her feel very useless and no doubt she was being a burden to him..., "I-I am sorry, I just didn’t want to let you go alone in this dangerous forest..."
Lukas knew she was being sincere, that’s why he liked her personality quite a lot, "It’s alright, I know that, don’t think much about it, see this tree, it’s a perfect place for us to rest..."

"I-I don’t think I will be able to climb..." Leah’s breaths were full of panting. She really felt powerless.
"Don’t worry about it, just climb on my back..." Lukas spoke with assuring tone.
"A-Alright..." Leah hadn’t seen the tree branch yet as her face was still buried in Lukas’ chest but even if she had, she didn’t have any other choice.
Lukas immediately broke their hug and moved in front of her, "Climb fast..."
Leah finally opened her eyes which were slightly moistened, fear and exhaustion were one thing but there was even some hidden guilt in them.
