Chapter 519 Sitara's Fine Wine and Food
Chapter 519 Sitara's Fine Wine and Food
Of all the cells Haz had seen, his was the best, which suggested he had received preferential treatment from Mels.
……
Within the ninth universe.
This universe is ruled by the long-bearded dwarf Sidara, who has long prepared fine wine and food for Mo Yongye and his companions.
Sidara brought his whole family, with the angel Mojito on his left and the god Lore on his right, and the three of them greeted him outside the planet of Destroyer.
Mo Yongye saw the person as soon as he arrived, and had Bados drive away to the three of them.
To put it politely, "It is truly an inconvenience to trouble Sidara to wait here!"
"It is an honor for our humble abode to have you, Your Excellency, visit us. We dare not be negligent. Please come in, Your Excellency." The three of them performed a simple greeting and then made way for the road.
"You're too kind, Sitara. I've heard that the Ninth Universe is very hospitable, and now I've finally met you."
Mo Yongye led four people, along with Xidala and two others, into the planet of Destruction.
"You flatter me, sir. It's just that everyone is giving me face."
The group arrived at Sitara's palace and saw herds of animals, mostly wild creatures that had not yet grown up. Among them were some adorable animals, which made the two newly arrived women, Bidili and Bidili, somewhat unable to contain their excitement, but they did not lose their manners.
“Sidarak is a lover of animals. You have all kinds of animals here, a wide variety, more than I have ever seen in my life.”
"Please don't laugh at me, sir. It's not that I love animals. I just can't live without meat. This planet is isolated and solitary. Going out doesn't take much time, but it's still troublesome. So I catch some to keep in captivity to satisfy my appetite. I never thought that having animals as companions and feeding them every day would be such a pleasure."
Mo Yongye laughed. This guy was quite a character. No wonder he was dressed like a caveman; he seemed to really like animals.
“What’s so funny? Sidara’s candor shows he’s a generous person.”
Xidala led the group to their lodgings, where Mo Yongye and his companions were stunned to find a huge yurt-like thatched hut.
This si tala has a truly unique flavor.
"Well, my humble abode is truly simple and humble, I hope you will forgive me, sir." Sidara always felt this awkward when receiving guests.
The Supreme Kai and his attendant angels both looked embarrassed, but it was fleeting, as if they had gotten used to it.
"It's alright, it's alright, what's the big deal? A house is just for shelter from the wind and rain, and a place to live."
Mo Yongye gave him a way out, but unexpectedly, Xidala's eyes suddenly changed. He was enthusiastic in words before, but now his expression became lively.
"Your Excellency's realm of thought and depth of understanding are truly beyond the reach of others."
Mo Yongye found it amusing. This guy excluded himself and acted as if he had met a kindred spirit. I was truly impressed.
Pushing open the door, the interior was completely renovated, with walls identical to those of the city buildings. Although there was only one room, it had two partitions, presumably the sleeping place of the angel god of destruction.
The furniture and equipment were complete; while not luxurious, they were certainly more upscale than thatched cottages.
Seeing that Mo Yongye and the others were stunned again, Xidala quickly said, "These items are all necessities for life. You can't just cover yourself with thatched clothes."
Mo Yongye was laughing so hard. He thought this guy was really a caveman. Looking at his still simple and honest smile, maybe an angel stopped him. Otherwise, this guy might have been setting up a fire and hanging a boiler, living a spiritually fulfilling primitive life.
Believe it or not, the contrast between the thatched exterior and the hidden cave interior is quite a gimmick, giving guests something to talk about.
“Absolutely, absolutely,” Mo Yongye replied, then sat down with Xidala at a large round dining table that could accommodate dozens of people.
After we sat down, the angel Mogi brought out the hut. The kitchen was built outside, and soon a long cart was pushed in, on which were many dishes covered with iron lids, which added to the mystery.
The long cart has a section in the middle, making it appear that it can be separated.
A large plate covered the back of the long vehicle, presumably containing some kind of main dish.
Bardos stood up to help, but the Supreme Kai, Lore, quickly stopped her, saying, "Bardos, let me do it! How can you let the guests serve the food? It's not appropriate!"
With the help of the angel Mojito, the long cart was separated into two long carts on either side.
Then the two of them carried the dishes to the table, acting all mysterious, with Bidil and Number 21 both eagerly awaiting the opening of the lid.
The first course, served by the mojito, was steak. It looked beautiful and smelled delicious, making one's mouth water.
The second dish was a roast chicken. The chicken sat upright on the plate, its head raised, surrounded by a variety of side dishes. It was glistening with oil and sauce, making it incredibly appetizing.
It wasn't unusual at all; it was just ordinary meat from everyday households. But later on, it became something to be curious about.
Deer meat, wolf meat, snake meat, tiger meat—any species that exists can be served on the dinner table.
Just as Sidara had said, a feast was indeed in order.
But with all these dishes being meat, I wonder if it might cause me any health problems.
Videl asked out of curiosity, "Lord Destroyer, why not grow some vegetables and raise some fish to achieve a balanced diet?"
Sidala was taken aback, and then explained the reason: "What this young lady says is very true. I also planted some fruits and vegetables and raised some fish in ponds and lakes before, but the animals were killed by me in just a few days. I will reduce the number and then make other plans."
"So that's how it is,"
During the conversation, the final main dish was served.
The group's expectations were raised slightly.
Mojito slowly lifted the lid, and the group pretended to be surprised; it turned out to be a whole roasted pig.
Sidala laughed and said, "A whole roasted pig is still worthy of being served on a plate. If we make other roasted whole dishes, we'll need to get some new tableware. The cooking time is too long, and it's not easy to prepare them in time. So let's just make some home-style meat dishes."
Mo Yongye waved his hand, "It's alright. Sidala has already treated us very well. They must have included all the meat and bones of all the animals. There's no need to cause any more trouble."
Sidara smiled and said, "Thank you for your understanding, sir. We were fortunate to receive your help when we participated in the Power Tournament that day; otherwise, we would not be here today."
"You are Welcome!"
The group ate and chatted, enjoying the meal in a harmonious atmosphere. Dilireba and Number 21 had tried something new and were quite full.
The two dared not eat too much, fearing they would gain weight from the fatty meat. When asked why these people were not afraid, the God of Destruction, Siddhartha, said it was thanks to the power of destruction that any illness or pain disappeared, which made the two envious for a while.
The two went outside to see the adorable animals, the wild beasts feeding, and the wild animals fighting each other...
Bardos stayed at the table and continued eating with the others. Being a god, she was indeed not afraid of some of the troubles of birth, aging, sickness, and death.
With a table full of dishes, Mo Yongye couldn't refuse and let Xi Dala and the others eat alone, thus offending their good intentions.
So I joined them in eating as much as we wanted, but I soon felt full. My stomach was used to taking in large amounts of food, and I was afraid that if I tried to stuff myself, I would just throw it up again.
