Chapter 50 Nine Realms Overlapping - Flower Fairy

Chapter 50 Nine Realms Overlapping - Flower Fairy

"Ah~!"

"ah"

"Wow! Hahaha~, faster!"

The roller coaster, packed with tourists, sped along its winding, twisting, and rotating tracks. Most of the tourists screamed and gasped, but some were excited and hoped the roller coaster would go even faster.

Among them is Gwen Stacy, who is celebrating her birthday today. She is the only superhero on Earth—the Ghost Spider.

She was excited not because she thought roller coasters were thrilling and fun, but because swinging between skyscrapers on spider silk was actually much more fun than roller coasters.

She was excited because after she and several other Spider-Man friends from different universes resolved the trouble in the Miles Morales universe and returned, her father George finally accepted her, and the two went back to how they used to be.

"Ugh, ugh..." The strong wind made George unable to open his eyes, and the continuous tumbling of the roller coaster made his stomach churn. He covered his mouth tightly with both hands to prevent himself from vomiting.

This is absolutely terrifying! Which bastard came up with the idea of such a dangerous roller coaster? Don't they care about us poor parents?

"Dad, you, huh?" Gwen, in her excitement, noticed something was off about her father beside her. She turned her head to ask him something, but as she turned, she suddenly noticed something unusual.

How could she see a girl who looks exactly like her? Was she seeing things?

She hurriedly turned her head to look in that direction, but unfortunately the roller coaster was going too fast and she could no longer see it.

A dozen minutes later, the roller coaster stopped, and George asked a staff member for a plastic bag and began to vomit.

After he finished vomiting, Gwen helped him sit down in the rest area to rest, and then left under the pretext of going to the restroom.

George grabbed her arm. "Is there going to be another incident nearby?"

Gwen quickly denied it: "No, no, I really just needed to go to the bathroom."

George asked skeptically, "Really?"

Gwen urged, "Really, Daddy, let go! I can't hold back any longer!"

"I hope you're not lying to me." George released his grip, and Gwen immediately jogged away.

Gwen went to the spot she had just seen, but searched for several minutes without success: "Is she gone? Could I have been mistaken?"

"Gwen, over here!" Just as Gwen was about to give up, she heard someone calling her. Looking in the direction of the voice, she saw a short-haired girl with red hair who was about the same age as her.

She didn't recognize the girl, but after looking around, Gwen was certain that the girl was calling her.

Gwen walked over and asked, puzzled, "Hello, do we know each other?"

Bana licked her ice cream, nodded, and said, "Hello, I'm Bana, Bana Thurman, I'm Gwen's sister."

"???" Gwen was completely confused. You're my sister? How come I didn't know that!

"We come from elsewhere." Bana pointed to the watch on Ghost Gwen's left wrist, and Gwen realized, "I knew I wasn't mistaken."

"Please follow me, she's in the tool shed in the restroom." Bana said, leading the way. Gwen immediately followed. "What brings you here? It's my birthday today, and I just made up with my dad. Could you find someone else to help?"

Bana: "She didn't join that organization, and we didn't run into any trouble. We wouldn't have come looking for you if you hadn't found out."

"Then why did you come here?" Gwen asked, puzzled. Surely you didn't come here just to have fun? Don't they have amusement park rides in their world?

Bana sighed softly, leaned closer to Gwen, and whispered, "A year ago..."

After hearing Bana's explanation and learning that she had only come here to catch a glimpse of her father from afar, Gwen, feeling compassion, immediately made a decision.

The two quickly arrived at the restroom's tool room, and then Gwen soon came out alone and ran excitedly toward the roller coaster rest area.

"Dad, I'm home."

"Yeah, I've recovered now. What do you want to do next? Um, how about that giant swing?"

"Dad, let's go ride the Ferris wheel."

"Okay, okay, this is good, let's go, let's sit here!"

On the other side, after lunch, Vega and Monica went to the flybridge area of the yacht and lay on massage chairs to sunbathe.

Exhausted from all the fuss, little Shengxi nestled in her mother Monica's arms and fell asleep. Monica, in turn, was held in her husband Vega's arms. Neither of them spoke, simply enjoying the rare moment of peace and quiet.

Unfortunately, quiet moments are always rare, and before we could rest for long, an uninvited guest shattered our peace.

Vega got up and looked into the distance. He saw a small black dot flying on the undulating sea. The dot was flying very low and very slowly, and was occasionally splashed into the water by the waves.

"What's wrong?" Monica asked, following her husband's gaze, but found nothing.

"I saw a flower fairy in distress, I'll go and bring her over." After saying that, Vega floated in the air and flew towards the small black dot.

Vega spotted the flower fairy, no bigger than a palm, as delicate as a doll, struggling to fly by flapping her colorful butterfly wings, while the flower fairy also spotted Vega flying towards her.

She felt a strong light and life force emanating from Vega, and her fear and worry immediately disappeared. She knew she was saved.

Vega quickly approached the flower fairy and extended his right hand to let her fall into his palm.

The flower fairy, who was already exhausted, collapsed with a thud. Vega sensed her and saw that she was just weak and extremely hungry, so he carried her back to the yacht.

"Wow, what a beautiful little guy!" Monica came closer, her eyes lighting up when she saw the baby.

Vega: "Darling, could you please clean this little one up and feed her some honey? She looks like she's been flying for a long time and must be starving."

"Okay." Monica gently placed the flower fairy on the massage bed, then carried her up the stairs to the master bedroom on the main deck.

Realizing she had lost her familiar embrace, little Shengxi whimpered and tried to wake up. Seeing this, Vega quickly patted her back and softly hummed a lullaby.

Little Saint Xi didn't wake up, and Vega breathed a sigh of relief. He continued to look after his daughter while pondering how the Flower Fairy could have appeared on the sea.

Flower fairies are intelligent humanoid beings who live by collecting nectar. They live in forests rarely visited by humans and are unlikely to appear on the sea under normal circumstances.

"Could she have been captured by humans and then escaped during sea transport?"

Vega looked out at the vast ocean, thought for a moment, and decided that instead of letting his mind wander here, he should wait until the little one calmed down and ask her.
