As the Lions finished speaking, a huge shadow swept over their heads. Galka looked up and saw a red dragon. "Hilary!?"
“That’s the thing.” Hilarious looked at the vanguard Zavors not far away, opened his mouth and spat out scorching flames to engulf it, but failed to achieve the desired effect, as the vanguard Zavors’s Sphia Barrier blocked its attack.
As a monster secretly sent by Gransphia to seize the ultimate dark power, Vanguard Zavors is naturally more powerful than the other Gransphia chimeras.
Hillary wasn't discouraged. As a legendary dragon, she was tired of bullying Melba all this time, and this opponent was just right.
While Gransphia was trapped, many more Spheres flew in from the sky and began to synthesize various Sphere monsters to stop Hillary and the Lions from targeting the vanguard Zavors.
But Hillary discovered something was wrong. The Gulansphia was imprisoned, and the rest of the sphia spheres had become a barrier covering the entire Earth. Where did these sphia come from?
Meanwhile, in the universe, Galatrom waved his hand, and all the gigabit Endora were aimed at Gransphia, while Demaga, who had already quietly arrived, began to gather his power.
A single Dimensional Destruction Ray pierced through Gransphia's spacetime barrier. The remaining Giga Endoras opened fire simultaneously, but then Galatrone frowned. "An empty shell? No, some of them escaped!?"
Galatrom turned around and looked at Earth behind her. "This is truly the worst-case scenario."
Chapter 344 Dyna and Dekae
The sky seemed to grow even more gloomy, and Asuka had a bad feeling. She and her friend Ken quickened their pace and rushed to their neighbor, Mr. Matsushiro's house.
The streets were ravaged by the attack of the Sphere of Sphia. Asuka and Ken, not caring about anything else, jumped into the yard and whispered. Then, they skillfully pulled out the key from under the flowerpot and opened the door to go inside.
"Grandpa Jiro, Grandpa Jiro, are you home?" Asuka clung to the doorway, her eyes widening in surprise. "Grandpa Jiro, you're here! Why didn't you go to take refuge?"
Hearing the familiar voice, the old man in the room put down the photo in his hand, looked up, and saw Feibiao perched by the door. His eyes were filled with panic. "Feibiao, you rascal, why didn't you go to seek refuge? What are you doing here?!"
"I was worried about you, Grandpa, so I came here to find you. Grandpa, why didn't you go to seek refuge?"
"I... sigh..." Matsushiro sighed, lowering his head in disappointment. "I'm fine. I'm just an old man, I'll just die if I have to. Why would you two little kids take such a risk to come to me?"
“You can’t say that,” Asuka and Ken rushed to the old man’s side. “Quickly, now, we…”
Halfway through the conversation, Asuka noticed the photo in the old man's hand. It showed the bright smiles of a young man and a middle-aged man, with Flying Swallow No. 1 behind them. "Who is this big brother?"
“My son, Matsushita Aoyama, and my grandson, Matsushita Kazumitsu.” Jiro’s eyes dimmed. “Many years ago, when Melba first appeared, they sacrificed their lives in that battle.”
If Leo were here, he would definitely remember that the name Matsushita Aoyama was very famous in the TPC archives. He was the former captain of the Silver Star Vanguard Team, and the vice captain of the Silver Star Vanguard Team at that time was Maki Shunichi.
Kazumitsu Matsushita was originally an outstanding pilot, even considered the best fighter test pilot in TPC, but when the Zoga appeared, TPC's equipment was simply no match for it.
In order to buy enough time to protect a passenger plane, the Matsushita father and son even piloted a fighter jet into the monster. Tragically, Matsushita Aoyama's wife was on that plane at the time, planning to visit her husband and son, and was even sitting with Masaki Keigo's mother.
And so, only Matsushiro Shigero remained alive in the family. The old man was depressed and lost all hope for the future. Unlike others, he did not undergo a transformation. The fire in his heart was reduced to a mere ember.
Asuka was about to say something more when Ken grabbed his arm and subtly hinted at the new folding wheelchair placed by the door, which they hadn't seen when they came last time.
“I’m already quite old. My son and grandson have both gone to the other side of the world. I’m just a burden to others now. It’s about time I went to be with my wife and them.”
Based solely on the deeds of his son and grandson, Jiro, though living alone, was well-fed and clothed, frequently visited, and would certainly be taken to safety by someone. However, he himself simply did not want to live anymore.
As he spoke, the old man seemed to remember something, and took out two medals personally awarded by Director Sawai from the bedside, placing them in the hands of Asuka and Ken Fudo respectively.
“I don’t need this anymore. You said you liked it last time, so I’ll give it to you.” The old man said calmly as he sat down. “Go on, children. You’re not little kids anymore who would fall on your bottoms when you climbed in. I don’t have any more candy here.”
"No!" Asuka grabbed Jiro's hand, staring intently at him. "Don't say things like that. No matter what happens, we must be strong."
"After all... we've all survived, haven't we? Since the monsters first appeared, so many people have died, but we're still alive. We must live well and not let down those who sacrificed themselves for us!"
Grandpa Jiro was speechless for a moment, not knowing how to answer.
Asuka looked at Ken Fudo, who had already packed up the scattered items and even took out a helmet for the two of them to put on. Asuka carried Grandpa Jiro on his back, while Ken Fudo carried the bundle and led the way for the two of them.
As soon as the three stepped out of their house, a dazzling light, like the aurora borealis, suddenly appeared in the sky above them, enveloping the entire city in its radiance.
Ken looked up and saw a massive sphia wormhole opening right above him, almost covering the entire city. He immediately realized the gravity of the situation. "Run, Asuka!"
"I know without you telling me!" Asuka carried Grandpa Jiro on his back and quickened his pace. The streets were dilapidated, with broken walls and ruins everywhere, making it difficult to run.
Ken turned his head and saw a large number of Sphia spheres pouring out of the wormhole. He could also vaguely see the phantom of an even larger Sphia, which must be the core of the Sphia!
A large number of Sphia spheres coalesced into Sphia Fusion Beasts. The Five Emperors and EX Pedanium Zetton were of course included, but what was even more surprising was the large number of Neojomos and Chaos Clemedi.
Several Spheres spotted the three fleeing individuals and charged towards them. No matter how strong their physiques were, two legs couldn't outrun flying. Kenji gritted his teeth and picked up a steel pipe from the roadside.
"Feiniao, just carry the old man and run forward. Don't look back. If you can't even do something like this, I don't consider you my brother!"
"Don't move!" Just as Asuka was about to turn around, Ken Fudo shouted, "Don't turn around, and don't stop running!"
Asuka gritted her teeth and continued carrying Jiro towards the shelter. Jiro turned around and saw Ken standing behind him, tears streaming down his face. His house had also been turned into a sea of fire by the Five Emperors.
"Put me down, Asuka, put me down, you two will definitely be able to escape."
"No, my father said that a man must do what he says. I... I will take care of you from now on, Grandpa Jiro. Fudo and I will be your family!"
As she spoke, Asuka, fighting back tears, shouted, "Don't move, do you hear me? Live on!"
"I heard you, brother." Fudou Jian let out a long breath, gripped the steel pipe and swung it to try and stop the sphias, but the sphia spheres didn't use beams; they rushed straight at him and engulfed him.
The brief moment gained wasn't enough to escape. The beam of light from the Sphia sphere landed at the bird's feet, and the explosion sent him flying. Even so, he didn't forget to protect the old man.
"Asuka, Asuka, put me down and run for your own life." Looking at Asuka with her head bleeding, Grandpa Jiro felt heartbroken. If it weren't for him, these two children would never have been in such a dangerous situation.
“No…no, I can’t…” Asuka got up, but Sphianojomos and Chaoscremedy had already blocked their way, as if they were toying with them.
He couldn't run away here. If he did, he would never be able to face Leo again, nor would he be able to say that he was Kazuma Asuka's son, and he would never be able to forgive himself.
Power—he wanted power, the power to protect everything!
The moment Neojomos's lightning struck, the bird instinctively turned to protect the old man, and a blinding, unusual light flashed through the huge wormhole in the sky. This light arrived in the blink of an eye and blocked his way.
With a deafening roar, Asuka realized he was still alive. He turned around in disbelief and looked at Ultraman, whose figure gradually emerged from a beam of light that felt strangely familiar, a figure he had never seen before. Asuka even subconsciously called out the other's name.
"Dyna?"
Meanwhile, a dazzling rainbow-like light burst forth from the wormhole, directly enveloping the Sphere that had previously devoured Ken, transforming it into another Ultraman similar to Dyna.
The latter turned around and placed the rescued Ken Fudo next to Asuka, then stood with Dyna, showing no sign of wavering in the face of the massive number of monsters.
Dyna and Dekae now stand tall on this land.
Chapter 345 Sphia's Last Stand
At the Renlong Shrine, Mephis stared intently at the Sphia wormhole in the sky with a solemn expression. Although Galatron's plan had taken into account that the enemy would not be so easily defeated, this move was indeed somewhat unexpected.
After discovering that the Chaos virus was out of control, Gulansfia decisively abandoned all the parts that had been assimilated and affected by the Chaos virus, and only separated a part of the original core, turning it into a separate individual.
This weakened Sphia's power too much, and the price it paid was too high, but at least it was still alive. It almost couldn't escape, but it just happened to run into an accident.
Galatron's barrier prevents spatial transfer from the inside out, but it is still possible for the outside to go inside. Some unlucky guy just happened to open a spacetime wormhole within Galatron's encirclement, giving Sphia an opportunity.
And this unfortunate soul... was the Destruction Bringer who, after witnessing the strength of Earth's side, prepared to flee.
Despite the immense losses suffered by the Sphias, they were determined to make a final stand. They planned to merge directly into the entire Earth, assimilating with the planet and everything on it in order to completely resolve the problem of the Ultimate Darkness.
This requires finding the center of the Earth's network, or the location of the Earth's heart, which is... Renryu Shrine.
"How audacious, aiming directly at us." Mephis stared grimly at the giant wormhole in the sky. Renlong had already sensed the enemy's movements and was rushing towards them.
Meanwhile, Little Gatan beside Mephisto stared intently at the illusory core of Gransphia that emerged from the wormhole, gritting his teeth and letting out a threatening snort. Seele was also quite unhappy, wishing she could beat him up.
"Did you really think we weren't prepared at all?" Mephiss took out the Spark Doll, but before she could make a move, she saw two beams of light rush out of the Sphia wormhole one after the other, transforming into two Ultramen.
"Dyna and Dekae?" Mephisto suddenly remembered that there were these two Ultramen. They had been fighting with Sphia for who knows how long, and he thought they should have been defeated long ago, but he didn't expect them to still be alive.
However, the two of them looked to be in a very difficult state. It must have been quite an achievement for them to hold off Sphia for so long when they were isolated and helpless.
The timers on their chests kept flashing, but Dyna and Deka still got into position and charged at the enemy in front of them. Ken, who had been rescued, was still a little dazed. He had just been prepared to die.
"If I don't move, can I still walk?" Asuka asked, clutching her injured hand.
"I'm alright, but your injury... I'll carry the old man on my back, let's go!"
Ken saw several more Spheres flying towards them, and since Dyna and Deka were already entangled by the monsters and had no time to rescue them, he quickly carried Jiro on his back and fled with them.
Seeing that the two children were about to be caught, Dyna pulled his hand out and fired a light bullet to destroy several Sphia spheres to buy them time, but he was caught off guard by Clemence and sent flying with a single blow.
Already weakened, Dyna was now unable to stand up. Dekai stood in front of him, facing Clemedi, Neojomos, the Five Emperors, as well as Chaos Ultraman and EX Pedanium Zetton. Dekai was not confident of victory.
Although he and Dyna had stalled Sphia for a long time before, it was because the Sphia life form was merging with the Chaos virus at the time, so it was just a delaying tactic rather than a real fight against them.
So the enemies they faced back then weren't this strong, but now, Sphia has been completely driven to desperation and will eliminate any enemy that stands in her way.
"Asuka, run! They're back again! Why are these guys so persistent?" Kenjiro gritted his teeth in annoyance. What he and Asuka didn't know was that Sphia wanted them so much because the light emanating from them was too intense.
For Sphia, assimilating either Asuka or Ken Fudo, and analyzing the mysterious light within them, would give her the means to make a comeback in the future.
"That Ultraman..." Asuka found that he couldn't take his attention away from Dyna, and he wanted to fight alongside him.
A large number of Sphia spheres flew towards the two of them. Chaos Clemedi gathered his power, preparing to unleash the Blade of Calamity to end Dyna's life. Asuka panicked for a moment.
"Danger!" Ken Fudo shouted at Asuka, and Asuka shouted at Dyna.
But at that moment, a beam of light swept over the heads of Asuka and Ken, destroying a large number of Sphia spheres, and along with several Gilsadis beams, struck Clemence, sending him flying.
Bishop Gloca, transformed from Mephisto, stood in the city center, firing the Gilsadis Beam in rapid succession. These three shots were enough to kill Golza directly. Even the Five Emperors dared not take the firepower head-on and could only block it with a barrier.
“Ultraman over there,” Mephisto said, looking at Dyna and Deka, “you two aren’t feeling too well, wait a bit.”
Mephiss glanced at the approaching Asgardon, then turned to look at the group of Spia chimeras eyeing her menacingly, and curled her lip in disdain, "In terms of numbers? We've never been afraid of anyone."
As Mephisto finished speaking, a golden ring appeared in the sky, and one after another, the Gloca Bishops were deployed to various battlefields on Earth. Galatron inherited the wealth left by Delacion; with such a large and prosperous family, he was not afraid of such losses.
Haruki, piloting Asgard, was stunned by the sheer number of Asgards. He was incredibly envious. After all, the Asgard he piloted was currently the most powerful fighting force in human history, and even this was only slightly more versatile than the Asgard. As a combat weapon, its destructive power was still somewhat inferior.
Fortunately, I noticed the two children being chased by the Sphere of Specia and helped them out.
"This is Haruki. Now, enter the battlefield. Asgaron is officially engaged!"
"Received, we're in charge here... Oh, is someone here?"
Jugglus Juggler watched as several Skip members grabbed weapons and went to meet Asuka and the others, and breathed a sigh of relief. He then looked at Dyna with a contemptuous smile, "Is this how warriors fight?"
If there hadn't been enough time, Jugglus Juggler would have transformed into the Five Emperors (in fact, he already had seven materials for the fusion) to save people.
The remaining Spheres were still trying to capture the flying birds or the immobile creatures, but they were destroyed by several laser beams that suddenly appeared. The SKIP members rushed over, asking, "Are you alright?"
“Mr. Matsushita, we came here specifically to find you. If you are unable to take refuge, you should have just told us. Don’t think that you are causing us trouble.” The SKIP members turned their backs on the elderly man who was thanking them repeatedly, and did not forget to praise Asuka and Ken Fudo.
"Good children, you did a great job. Now come with us. There's an armory over there on the battlefield."
"Yuma, let's talk first, I'll cover you as you leave." The bespectacled youth, carrying a laser rifle, finished off a few more remaining Sphia spheres.
“Yes, Senior Ishido!” Yuma nodded quickly, looking at Dyna and Ken Fudo, “Let’s go quickly.”
The group quickly withdrew, and the rest of the battlefield was no longer their concern.
Chapter 346 Unlucky Zog
Leo wasn't sure what Delacion was trying to convey to him. Godiszavors' power was beyond imagination, and Ultimate Grand King wouldn't last much longer.
“I devour, I assimilate, darkness… I will… we…” Zavors’s voice echoed, as if it firmly believed that it was doing a noble and self-evident cause.
This time, Leo sensed something. Unlike the Dark Goddess or the Sphia life form, it was the Chaos Virus... They actually had human emotions?
Godis Zavors' power suddenly increased, restoring the core in his chest. But this time, it wasn't an attack; it was an absorption. A powerful suction force emerged from it, turning Zavors' chest into a small black hole. It even tried to absorb King Grand and Leo.
"Don't even think about it!" Leo pulled out the Dark Pattern Cloth and swung his sword to seal the black hole. It's not like Ampera doesn't know this move. Who are you trying to scare?
It would be one thing if human emotions appeared in the life form of the Sphia, but Leo had heard the voice of the ancient Sphia. He was indeed surprised that the Sphia civilization was also a glorious creation of the ancient people, but this also answered some of his doubts.
But it's the Chaos virus, so where did they get human emotions from? Are they innate, or did they acquire them after merging with the Sphia life form? It's really hard to guess.
(Leo, I can't hold on much longer.)
King Grant's voice carried an unavoidable sense of loss. Her power was not weak, but even the undead Gua would not gain any advantage in fighting her here. It was already quite an achievement that she had managed to hold on this long.
"It's alright, good girl, leave the rest to me. It seems to be waiting for me to do it."
Leo could sense that Zavors, or rather the Chaos Light Virus, was targeting him. As for the core area where Sphia had escaped, Galatrom, Dimaga, and the others had already rushed there.
But this time, before Leo could even make a move, a loud shout came from the sky, "I'm here to help you!"
Leo looked up at the Kirieloids rapidly approaching from the sky, with Max close behind.
Leo had heard of the third stage of the Kirieloids; their strength was undeniable, probably even surpassing Daigo's current power, but...
As Gordis Zavors watched the Kirieloid flying in from the sky, his red crystals shimmered. Zavors, with the power of a Max cannon, moved like a torrential rain. The Kirieloid hurriedly dodged but was still injured and fell directly from the sky.
Max was quite decisive. Gordiszavores looked like someone he couldn't defeat alone, not to mention that even the Ultimate Grand King was in a difficult situation. He didn't have the confidence of the Kirieloids.
(Leo, several people wanted to help you, so I let them in. Is that alright?)
"It's alright, this is fine too." Since Godiszavores wants Leo to do it himself, then he will do it himself. But the other party must have some tricks up his sleeve. With the help of the Kirieloids and Max, he won't fall right into the other party's hands.
"Let's join in!" Hong Kai and Komon also transformed and joined the battle, while Leo transformed into a Godler alien. It was five against one, and the advantage was not theirs.
Seeing that Leo was still not going all out, Godis Zavors realized that he needed to be more serious. Zavors's streamlined form attacked like living tentacles, and everyone raised a barrier to block it.
